We are a local family serving our community in the food industry since 1974. We love delicious food and being around happy people, and firmly believe that Restaurants should satisfy those demands. Our new vision, the Naked Olive, is inspired by our travels through the Mediterranean where the culture of food is an experience rather than a means to an end. Dining is about invoking feelings, about atmosphere, about socialization, about enjoying traditional dishes with unexpected nuances, about eating slowly and tantalizing your tastebuds, about savoring the moment and loving life. Went for dinner on a Sunday at 4:30 with four adults and a baby. We didn’t make a reservation and were able to be seated right away. The restaurant is beautiful and clean. Our waitress was friendly and great, very helpful. Our food came out in a timely manner. The bread they gave us was delicious. We ordered two apps for the table and three entrees between us. The one app was good the other wasn’t great. One entree was good the other two weren’t great. I’d like to say we would go back but just not sure. You should give it a try for yourself.

First time visiting the baked olive. Great atmosphere, food was very good and service was pretty good. Would definitely recommend checking it out. When’s in a Saturday around 7, parking lot was pretty full, but we were seated immediately with no reservations. Worth a visit!

First time here with one of my girlfriends! Food was amazing will definitely be back! Very odd situation with our server. Waitress was beyond rude and not friendly I even asked what she would recommend (normal for a waitress to give you recommendations knowing you have never been to the restaurant) she gave me an issue and wouldn’t tell me lol. It was super awkward. But the guy who delivered us our food was super nice! I would return!!

Brittany provided totally excellent service and provided wonderful company, we had all shareables and everything was great, the place has a beautiful interior, great all around! We paid I think 70 before tip, which was beyond reasonable for what we got. Brittany exuded pride and admiration for her workplace and her surroundings, in the way she spoke about the food and in the way she described the job and her environment, providing unprovoked praise of her environment in a way that even in an exemplary workplace, is hard to find in an employee. We had the calamari, mezze platter, Brussels sprouts, and rib rolls (latter being the star of the meal), all of which were done to perfection and provided quickly, and left myself and two women stuffed with leftovers to go. The interior is just wonderful, we had just finished Longwood Gardens and it felt as though the beauty and artistry there was being prolonged in our chosen restaurant. I should add that I got a reservation for 9pm at 8:15, got there ten minutes late, and the staff in addition to being expeditious were unceasingly patient and kind. Excellent experience, we’ll be back on our next visit for sure.

My family has been going to the naked olive since they opened and the food is always great, from the appetizers to entrees to the desserts you can’t go wrong. The Brussels sprouts with beer cheese are delish and let me tell you about the fried feta cheese, coated in sesame and drizzled with honey… it’s unbelievable! The salmon is always cooked to perfection, braised short rib is so tender and every pasta dish is yummy! All the hostesses, waitresses and the owners are so friendly, personable and make you feel welcome.

The staff was fantastic, the atmosphere was very nice, and the food was pretty good. The burger and calamari were incredible! The fried mozzarella was dry and just eh, but still I had a great evening and we will be back!

Stumbled across this gem in Kennett Square. We love Mediterranean and it didn’t disappoint. Chrissie was a delight and steered us to three great choices. Mushroom veloute soup was rich and creamy and when in the mushroom capital of the country, one must have mushrooms! We also had the castilla burger which came with thick fries that had an incredible seasoning. I’m getting those next time. The mediterranean wrap was warm and filled with vegetables, cheese and humus. Note: It is BYOB. It has seating outdoors for warmer weather. Very charming, funky decor.
