Stopped in because it was close to where we needed to go. We were glad we did. Brisket was very good. Mac n cheese was good too. The banana pudding was good too. BBQ sauce was watery, but the meat didn’t really need it. Great selection of moonshine, we didn’t try any though.

I had heard the Proper Pig Smokehouse was the best barbecue in Cleveland!

Tiny place in an unassuming neighborhood in an unassuming town. Nice southern style decor. Service was fine just a little awkward but fine. However the food was great. Smoked perfectly, tender and delicious. Mac and cheese was good I think I expected it to be even better based on the BBQ but it was fine, same with the banana pudding.

Everything was delicious (except the Mac and cheese) and the service was great. I don’t drink alcohol but if you like Moonshine this is the place. Overall nice environment and the staff is friendly.

Easily my favorite BBQ in Cleveland. They recently added a full bar to their main restaurant. You can find their food truck around the city at most major events. They also stock up on Texas beer that is hard to find in Ohio. They keep their menu fresh with seasonal smoked options. I highly recommend checking them out and grabbing a bottle of their BBQ sauce to take home.

Ribs too processed and dry and had that pink color and a texture and taste like ham at the deli counter. Brisket was dry perhaps a little old. Banana pudding extremely salty. They don’t answer their phone for orders so there is no way to ask “are your ribs like rib burn off type ribs or super processed type ribs.” To our disappointment they are definitely not the type of ribs you get at a rib burn off. 1 for food 3 for service.

Tex mex nachos were awesome! This place is simple – not a lot of options but what they do offer was quality for the most part. They were out of brisket when we went (which is what we all wanted!) so we will be back to try that! Mac and cheese was too thick for me, potato salad was good!

The service and food was great. Tried the Tex Mex nachos and they were delicious. I highly recommending trying this snack item with brisket. 10/10 recommend for food and service. The drink choice was perfection. A great restaurant vibe for date night or hanging with friends.

The brisket slaps, it’s very good. The ribs were only okay, a bit dry.

Came here for a late lunch at 4pm when they opened. The staff where super friendly and helped us lots of advice as we are European and don’t don’t so much about bbq. We went for the combo 4 meats, 3 side between the two of us and it was more than enough.
