Checks for bugs in your food! I always loved this place but last time I ordered there was a bug in my salad. I wasn’t going to leave a review, I simply wanted a refund but the manager gave me such a hard time about it and acted like it wasn’t a big deal. I’ve been waiting almost a month to get my refund and was originally promised a whole order refund. After not getting anything I finally decided to call again and now the manager said he wouldn’t refund my whole order like he originally said he would. Saying he “never said that” which is completely untrue and acted like I had so much audacity for wanting the refund I was promised.

Finally got a chance to eat at this south side Greek restaurant in Hammond in..not for to travel if yr anywhere south this is yr favorite mom & pop the food was so “great”..I couldn’t believe I was eating Greek for lunch on the far south I the good thing is flavor flavor flavor this was the happiest I’ve ever been at lunch and to top it off I had food left for the next day ….if yr south and want a dip in place to eat Greek was really tasty let me tell ya!!

You guys are truly amazing, best Greek food in town. The gyros!! My husband ate it by the time we made it home so I wasn’t able to take any pictures of it. But that alone tells you it was an amazing gyro. The chicken kabob was so flavorful and the rice was very fluffy. We also had the vegetarian falafel dish, it was good but not my favorite. We also had the Greek style fries, recommend them very different but delicious. But the Baklava was so perfect!! A perfect dessert after a great dinner experience. I will definitely be coming back, highly recommend this secret gem!

We really enjoyed our meal at Tzatziki. My husband ordered the gyros. They were so well flavored. I loved that they were seasoned and not over salted. I enjoyed the falafels. They were delicious. My son had a hamburger, and again very good. We just happened to stop by here after a morning of hiking. Great food, and I know we will be back. Glad to have this little gem in our neighborhood.

Food was good, but service was awful! Order not correctly rang up. Sat in the dining room and watched as patrons who ordered well after us received their food! Waited well over 24 minutes for a simple fast food order. Either the place is trying to save money or the air conditioning is broken! The overall building is a dump and the parking lot is a mine field! I would NEVER come back here!

Finally got to try this place out, my sister raves about it when I visit (lives in indy). They did not disappoint. This food was so good and filling, to the point where you have a decent amount of left overs. I had the falafel pita with fries and put the cucumber sauce on it WOAH it was so good. My sisters had a lamb pita bowl and a chicken pita bowl. Then to top it off when I went to pick up my order it was done ON TIME, thr place was clean, and the young lady at the register was pleasant and polite even with having to constantly answer the phone for orders while assisting walk-ins. All in all a great experience. Will definitely return when I’m in town.

Tzatziki is incredibly delicious, the portions are huge, and the food is always fresh. The owner is such a hard-working man and is so friendly. I’ve been to both the Hammond and Schererville location (when it was still open) and I’ve never had a subpar experience. The gyros, spanakopita, greek fries, and lemon rice soup are amazing! I 100% recommend Tzatziki to anyone looking for a delicious meal.

I’m originally from Chicago, a city known for having great food. I am a foodie by heart. New to Hammond,I was looking for a place where I can get a decent gyro. I was surprised at how great my food was. My 1st time ordering a Gyro and greek fries turned into a 2nd time. I am now hooked. I rarely give 5 stars so that just shows that I am really impressed.
