ON DRAFT
Oktoberfest
Märzen 5.6% ABV 30 IBU von Trapp Brewing Stowe, VT Our Oktoberfest is brewed with a blend of light and dark Munich Malts, which not only add to its depth but deliver a residual sweetness. Caramel and toffee notes linger but are balanced by the subtle hops additions in this beer. We use Hallertau and Tettnanger hops which add a floral yet peppery aroma to this beer. It’s our take on this traditional fest beer. Serving Sizes: Pint
Ardent Pilsner
Pilsner – German 5% ABV 36 IBU Ardent Craft Ales Richmond, VA *Bronze medal winner: 2018 Great American Beer Festival* Ardent Pilsner is a clear, golden pilsner with classic lager aroma that is clean and bready, with light grassiness from Hallertauer mittelfrüh noble hops. Medium body and effervescence highlight soft bitterness, malty sweetness and mild fruitiness. Ardent Pilsner is a crisp, refreshing German-style pils that finishes dry and clean with a creamy, long-lasting head that leaves rich lacing. #neverstoplagering. Serving Sizes: Pint
Nephology Series: Vic Secret
IPA – Imperial / Double New England / Hazy 8% ABV 10 IBU Three Notch’d Brewing Charlottesville, VA Developed in 2000 in Victoria, Australia, this big fruity hop is a sister to Topaz and has descendents from England, Europe and North America. The hop gives the beer a big tropical fruit profile, particularly pineapple and passionfruit. Serving Sizes: 12oz Draft
Piña Colada Fizzee
Hard Seltzer 5% ABV The Veil Brewing Co. Richmond, VA Hard Seltzer brewed with Coconut and Pineapple. Awesome summertime cocktail vibes, super crushable. Gluten free, vegan and delicious. Serving Sizes: 12oz Draft
Pumpkin Ale
Pumpkin / Yam Beer 7.3% ABV Alewerks Brewing Company Williamsburg, VA This amber colored ale is loaded with Pumpkin pie aroma and flavor. It actually does taste like Pumpkin pie! At 7.3% ABV, it will keep you warm on a cool Autumn eve. Serving Sizes: Pint
Baby Brochachosaurus
IPA – New England / Hazy 6% ABV Benchtop Brewing Company Norfolk, VA Hazy IPA with Galaxy and Simcoe hops Serving Sizes: Pint
Allagash White
Wheat Beer 5.2% ABV 13 IBU Allagash Brewing Company Portland, ME Allagash White features a refreshing balance of citrus and spice. Wheat, coriander, and Curaçao orange peel round out the flavor of this pale straw-colored, hazy beer. Serving Sizes: Pint
Lager
Lager – Helles 4.8% ABV Bingo Beer Co. Richmond, VA Classically crushable, modesty modern Helles lager. 100% German malt with Tettnanger and Mandarina Bavaria hops in whirlpool. Serving Sizes: Pint
Brown Ale
Brown Ale – American 6% ABV Legend Brewing Company Richmond, VA A full bodied version of a British Brown Ale. Expect a rich, malt-foreward brew with a beautiful mahogony tone. Generous amounts of specialty malts bring flavors of sweet caramel, toasted nuts, coffee, and molasses, all perfectly balanced by a steady but cautious hop dryness. Fruity undertones provided by our house yeast strain bring the final flavor element to round out this world class ale. Serving Sizes: Pint
Farmhouse Dry
Cider – Dry 8.5% ABV Potter’s Craft Cider Charlottesville, VA Pale gold and effervescent with pronounced fruit aroma hinting of peach and melon. Don’t let the heady nose fool you – with no residual sugars, the flavor is crisp, tart, and exceptionally dry. Uniquely refreshing with a crisp finish that pairs well with a variety of foods including pork, duck, wild game, and aged cheeses. Serving Sizes: Pint

What a beautiful place to celebrate my Mothers Day Brunch outside on the patio with my kids. They brought me here specifically because they have vegan option that are really great so.. I had the vegan club sandwich which was very good. The only thing about it that I didn’t like was every time I hit into it the toppings would slide out. But, taste wise, I really liked the sandwich, it came with chips or a salad, and we went inside the market to buy some juice. We tried 2 different ones, orange mango and orange pineapple. Out of the 2, the orange mango was the winner. All 4 of us preferred it over the pineapple although both were good. Cost wise, it’s expensive $6.+. But, it’s only 3 ingredients so it was worth it for a nice sized bottle.

I’ve been here several times. Half store with local goods, half restaurant with casual outdoor seating. I love their ice cream sandwiches, veggie burgers and Reuben sandwiches!

First time checking out this place for breakfast this past weekend and it was okay. Food came out quickly, nice service, but not comfortable sitting inside. The Market was good. Food was good for Avacado toast. Area were the restaurant is located is cute though.

The waitstaff is the reason I’ll keep coming back, so welcoming. The food (I had a tuna melt & chips, they had pastrami & greens) and cider was delicious and the music made me want to stay a little longer. This can easily become a weekly spot.

Amazing, a must stop esp if the sun is out. The booze list is great, so much outdoor seating. The can/bottle shop inside also worth mentioning, could be best in the city. The quality of ingredients here also top notch, not pictured the chicken salad sandwich, made with fried chicken skins…what…yes it was mind blowing!

Hands down my favorite neighborhood spot! The turkey panini is my go-to sandwich, but you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Great vibe, friendly staff. Yes…it’s not super fast service, but most places don’t have enough workers so a little patience goes a long way. Either way, it’s worth the wait!

What makes Union Market great is that the beverage selection is unparalleled among local brunch /lunch spots! They have high quality coffee: hot or cold brew, along with a great variety of craft beers and wines, served in house or to-go. I love their sandwiches and the healthy, properly dressed side of greens that come with the sandwich. The staff is always friendly and clearly communicates the wait time. If you go during lunch hour, especially on a nice day, be prepared to wait 45 minutes to an hour. While they’re not fast, it’s worth the wait..and again, you can consume all the tasty beverages while you wait. They also have an interesting wide selection of local sweets, meats, and condiments to browse, too. If you can’t find a seat inside or outside on the patio, you can always get it to go and enjoy at one of the many local parks nearby, like Jefferson, Libby Hill, or Chimborazo.
