This place is amazing. Quite possibly the best pizza I’ve ever tasted. Cooked in a wood fire oven, this results in an excellent crust with amazing toppings and flavors. We ordered a standard pepperoni, and the Beef Brisket daily special. The pepperoni pizza was excellent. My kids, who don’t normally get into pizza, ate until they couldn’t eat another bite. The Beef Brisket pizza was off the charts. I mean amazing. The brisket was slow smoked, with unbelievable flavor, along with their awesome crust.

Me and my girlfriend have gone here every chance we get since we first went there. Its small, quaint, just over all a nice place to be at, owners are very friendly, on top of all that they have amazing pizza, even the taco’s are fascinating, an the salads wow out a this world. Have yet to be disappointed. EVen the crusts are great, much better then any franchise pizza place for sure. Speaking of, think ill stop in there today for some lunch.

Perfect crust, fresh toppings, and can’t beat the super high heat wood oven taste. We’ve passed over this place due to looking like a hole in the wall from the street. Don’t make the same mistake we did. Easily the best pizza we’ve had in this area and a top 3 pizza place on my all time list. We did a cheese and a pepperoni for the kiddos and a Adam’s Favorite, all were on point. ALSO had the pork Baja tacos, they were delish. Very fresh and tasty and their habenero hot sauce added a nice kick. 5 stars on the tacos too. Owner was very personable, the waitress was less than bubbly, but I assume she was just getting warmed up for the night. We were there at 530 on a Thursday during spring break and had no issues getting a table (place was empty), but it wouldn’t take much of a rush to fill it up with only 6 tables or so.

The pizza did taste good. I mean I wouldn’t drive out of my way to go here because it wasn’t really the experience we were going for (figured a pizza between 2 Would fill us up and stay in our budget). We arrived and sat down she asked us right away what we wanted to drink, she came back with two coke cans and we immediately knew this might not have been the best choice. Hesitant to order decided we can just get the pizza to go and eat on the beach as this will not be much of a dining experience anyway. When we got the pizza it was VERY small just a little over the size of an individual pizza.. paid our 18 dollars finished the pizza before we even got to the beach and still hungry. It was more like a snack but 18$? I could have gotten an extra large pizza from any other ma n pop shop. But the pizza was okay we ordered a white cheese pizza and the crust was almost too thin (like non existent) but it was still okay.

We first learned of The Village Idiot while we were looking for pizza online near LBK. The reviews were excellent so we decided to give it a try. After browsing the menu we opted to try one white pie and one red pie. Wow! Both pizzas were fresh, perfectly cooked, and delicious. The owners were very nice. I think we’ll be stopping again before we leave town. If you love pizza, you need to eat here!

If you’re hungry for pizza go somewhere else. The portions are super small. We had the cheese pizza, crust was way too thin and hardly any cheese. We also had one with sausage, ham and pepperoni and was way too salty. Furthermore, the prizes are ridiculous, for the amount of money we spent here, we could’ve gotten four pizza pies at Marcos’ pizza; which in my opinion are way better than the village idiot. So, if your in the mood for pizza look elsewhere, village idiot is “overpriced and overhyped.”

We haphazardly stopped in for a quick bite after some fun in the sun and dang I was not prepared for the delicious fire baked handmade pizza with fresh handmade everything (made and served in less than 10 mins) super friendly staff and cold adult beverages! Been coming to VIP for years now. We used to drive down from Clearwater. Now we live in St. Petersburg so we are a little closer (thank god!). Lol. Never been disappointed. Must try the Caesar salad! Omg! To die for!
