I’ve now visited this location twice and both times they gave about 1/3 a bowl in terms of the rice and chicken. Twice now I was able to see through to the rice through the chicken and could count maybe 15-20 small pieces of chicken. This is not at all what I paid for and the one on Foothill serves justifiable portions. Even after ordering the beef, still the same result, bowl not even half way full of my choice of protein and rice. Will not be returning unless this location adjusts its serving sizes to match other locations and the price of the bowl itself.

We ordered a family meal which seems to be a new addition to their menu. I was surprised at how little food they put into the containers. It’s supposed to serve four people. The rice containers were full only half way. Why give these size containers when neither is full. The meat container was half way full as well and we got up charged because we did half and half. The only one that was actually full was the veggie container. I don’t think this feeds 4 adults. We’ve ordered the family meal at Flame Broiler and we’ve been able to feed six people with that one. We keep going back to WabaGrill because the flavor is better but this was a huge disappointment.

I ordered the grilled salmon veggie bowl. After paying, the cashier told me they couldn’t make it because they had just cleaned the grill and didn’t want to use it again. It was 8:40 pm.and the sign on the door said they close at 10pm. I asked for the shrimp instead but was again told “no” – the two young women working didn’t want to get the grill dirty. I really felt like just asking for a refund and leaving, but I went ahead and ordered the chicken and beef veggie bowl with no sauce instead. Since this was cheaper than the salmon I had paid for, the cashier asked if I wanted a drink or something else (instead of offering me a refund!). I told her to just add avocado to me order. Wow, I really regret not just leaving. This was the worst chicken and beef veggie bowl I have ever eaten. The meat was barely warm and heavily sauced. The vegetables were barely cooked and almost cold as well. I ended up feeding most of it to my dog. To be fair, he seemed to really enjoy it.

Ordered the chicken teriyaki rice bowls, the most underwhelming meal I’ve had. I felt like I was eating a school lunch meal. Steamed Vegetables had an odd flavor with no seasoning. Won’t come back to Waba Grill

I go to this Waba Grill frequently, and have never had a problem. This last time I went, the guy working the register was so rude, and to make matters worse, he didn’t wash his hands or put gloves on after touching the register, and cut my avocado, putting his dirty hands all over it. When my boyfriend asked, “they don’t make you wear gloves while cutting avocado?”, he just said, “yup”, and tossed our food on the counter while his back was turned to us. I will no longer be going back to this location.
