Had a wonderful lunch today at the Tarboro Waffle House! Our server Nuk was very fast, polite and accommodating, she’s a wonderful asset to this establishment! We ordered One All Star Breakfast w/Bacon and One Ribeye Steak and Eggs Breakfast, our bill came to about $25.00 which was very affordable for two nice meals. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare as requested and was seasoned nicely, the Waffle was so warm, sweet and yummy! We did not have to wait for a table, and we were greeted upon entry, which made us feel welcomed! Our food was served in a timely manner just as we ordered, no mistakes whatsoever. The entire staff was friendly to all the patrons, and the restrooms were clean, and there was ample parking as well. We will definitely return!

As New Englanders up until recently we had not tried a waffle house. In North Carolina and had the opportunity, not sure about the hype, but frankly I’d rather go to Cracker Barrel we do have those up h here, perhaps the location but it was dirty looking in and out, the service was ok, the food mediocre at the best.

The staff here was SO friendly. Our waitress, Debbie, was the absolute sweetest. The food was delicious and came out quickly. Definitely one of the best Waffle House locations I’ve visited. The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean and well kept.

The place is dirty. Excess waffle batter is all over the counter and the floor. The orange juice machine looked like it had sludge in it. The restrooms were filthy. Have to apologize to wife for choosing this place.
