I have ordered from Waiter on the Way many times for the past several years, and I never had any notable problems or issues. The website is easy to use, the staff and drivers are very friendly, and I think their delivery charge is fair considering the time it saves me driving back-and-forth to a restaurant plus gas. My food arrives sealed and secure, which really matters.

I placed an order that was going to take an hour to get. After an hour I received a text that the food would be arriving in like 3 minutes. After another 20-25 minutes I call the phone number. The customer service told me the driver would be here in another 15 minutes with no explanation. The manager was also unfriendly and full of excuses and not apologetic. He did say he’d give me a refund but I haven’t seen it come through yet. And then after almost 2 hours I had no dinner.

Order started out in a professional manner as I promptly received a phone call confirming my internet order. About 2 hours later I received our meals and they were cold. We are staying in a local motel so there was not much I could do especially at almost 10 at night. After opening it up I discovered the sauce I ordered with my meal was not there. So I called and explained the situation to the representative. It was clearly a mistake on their end and the representative offered to credit my meal. However, I waited to have dinner that long and I was anticipating eating what I ordered. He said it would probably then take another 45 minutes to return with the sauce. I said I would wait, but would like a fresh order as the one I received was already cold. The response I received was I would have to pay for a new meal. I opted to wait for the sauce, but by the time it was delivered the meal was ruined. My last words to the representative were…very poor customer service!

The company is good and has great service, but you have to be careful about where you order your food. The places that are in Montgomery County, Montgomery Village area can be a little “shady” with your orders. If it is at night, they will skimp on the food they give you. I have had this happen to me with India Palace and Island Pride. So far the only places that I have ordered from that are consistent with servings are China Jade and Micky’s. Hope this helps someone!

I have been customer for over 15 years and they are usually very prompt. However, tonight it took almost 2 hours to get a pizza from mamma Lucia’ s. I was told they had to wait for pizza to come out of oven. When it got here everything was stone cold. Turns out they are short on drivers and he made deliveries before mine.

The folks at Waiter On The Way are so incredibly polite and professional. There was a mistake on my order, and I called to see if it could be sorted out, and the gentleman I was speaking to was so friendly and helpful, it was incredible. They offered to correct my order, and did so in a very timely manner. I will definitely be using this service again.

I ordered my food at 330 and waited till 6 to get it. I was unhappy at the time, but I am glad that the company has great ownership as I was contacted today and spoke about the problem. The owner was respectful and listened and said that the feedback will hwlp him train his management. I found this very responsible as the company is taking action upon dropping the ball. Thank you for stepping up to fix a mistake.

Last three services have been disappointing. Most recently they did not get the right sides and the two 12 oz sodas I paid $2.50 for were not delivered. When I opened the door to tell the delivery person they had literally run across the street and were peeling out of the parking lot. What did waiter on the way do? They said they mailed us a $5 Starbucks gift card and a $5 Credit!! We have to pay a delivery fee to even ACCESS that credit.

The worst experience, never use them again !!! I ordered food and they delivered and left it at the door not even ringing the bell nothing . So i left thinking they canceled by order , i called them on the way to work and the dilivery said “oh i left it at the door “ …. are u kidding me … they offer me credits for full amount . And of course when i wanna use , they telling me it’s only 10 , please call Grubhub. I got so upset what kind of service is this … never will use them or even Grubhub…. no wonder their ratings are low …
