If I could negatively rate them, I would rate them negative 5 stars because they did the exact opposite of what makes a great experience. They had some young boy up-front. Whoever trained him did not teach him food timing and must have told him that people like cold pizza slices with fries and wings. We ordered fries, wings, and 2 slices that were sitting in a warmer and then turned cold in 2 minutes. I’ve always had problems with McDonald’s and fast food because they don’t understand food timing. Waldos does the same. The pizza is different, and you could tolerate a slice, but if you have Chicagoan taste, this should be on your to-don’t list.

Chicago is home to the best pizza in the world. You have Giordano’s, Gino’s East, Beggars, and Lou Malnati’s to name a few. When it comes to deep dish pizza Waldos Cooney’s ranks near the top. The ingredients always taste fresh and tasty. The deep dish slices are big and fulfilling. They also have delicious hot wings. When it comes to their thin crust pizza we could not come up with a consensus answer. She likes the thin crust as well and I do not. They do deliver which is an added bonus. If you choose to pick your order up, they have a parking lot adjacent to the building, and the inside is very clean. They also have a small eating area.
