My partner and I ordered two platters; the Chicken & Links and Ribs & Chicken, and everything came out bomb. The chicken was perfectly charred and juicy, the hot link had the right level of heat (not too hot nor too mild), and the ribs fell right off the bone. Would defffinitely stop by here again.

I just finished my first take-out experience here. It is absolutely and without doubt the finest barbecue available anywhere I could imagine in southern california. After a long day of teaching I was hankering for something and I see that Gus’s Barbecue in South Pasadena for some reason does not have ribs anymore which is strange.

It’s a local bbq joint with good food, a small tight menu, and the price is reasonable. Ordered bbq ribs, mac and cheese, and mixed greens. Plus they have house made deserts, i picked up the banana pudding. I will come back again when i crave bbq and I don’t have time to bbq food myself!
