I asked for beef and broccoli thinking I’d get equal parts but jesus christ are we in a war? Are they rationing beef out here? They gave me so much broccoli like what the hell am I suppose to do with it? I have more broccoli then rice. Horrible

I ordered some lunch from here today, chicken with cashews. The menu says it is served with fried rice. When I tell you how disappointed I was when I opened the container!!!! I was thinking ‘where is the chicken at’??!!! The chicken was cut up into very small pieces!!, & it was not much!! They put plenty of celery in it, & I have some rice left over, which for fried rice it looks light…I had an issue with this place about a year & some concerning the lack of chicken!! This is two strikes & the last!!!! This place is A RIP OFF!!! SMH

2/17/22 HIGHLY!! disappointed I just ordered a small and a large shrimp fried rice with 2 shrimp rolls and basically got a bunch of fried rice with a few bean sprouts and a few shrimp …..maybe 5 total. I won’t order from this place again BEWARE!!

Placed a VERY large order online. Was informed order would be ready in 30 minutes. Arrived on time and was told from guy manning the take out counter and phones that their “service” ( whatever the heck that means ?? ) didn’t call them with the order even though they got it. As a result, had to wait an extra 25 minutes to take the order out. I asked if – for the inconvenience – we could get a free order of Chinese donuts or something to mitigate the added inconvenience. All he said was ” we’re sorry sir but it’s the fault of our ‘service’ “. We usually order from city lights on gayton. 1st and last time ordering from westlake.

Ate for lunch for the first time and the food was fantastic. Sesame chicken with fried rice was very fresh and flavorful. Portion size was great because it wasn’t too big that I’d felt the need to box it up and not too small that I wasn’t filled. Will definitely look forward to working in the area again to eat here.

Normally my experiences at West Lake Chinese Restaurant are better than what I had today. Today, they forgot to pack part of my take-out order: sweet and sour chicken, which, and I have to laugh at this, they packed the sweet and sour sauce but forgot the chicken! I was ok that they made a mistake in the order. Everybody makes mistake, right? What wasn’t laughable was how patronizing and insincere they were with the apology, offering more of an excuse of “I’m sorry but we were really busy” when I had to returned to pick up that missing chicken.
