Delectable got the 6oz sirloin, so good. Perfect season, perfectly cook couldn’t stop eating it. Service was amazing and not overbearing or barely there. Our server was quick, consistent, and helpful. Lunch for 2 around $48. Left happy and full.

Best steaks in town. Always cooked to perfection (Medium), bread warm, soft and when paired with their whipped honey butter ate delicious. Smoked old fashioned was not for me, the smoke was over powering, but definitely neat if that is something you are into.

Food is always amazing but unfortunately this time the two people at our table that ordered burgers received cold food. Do love chop house though and will be back. We ordered spinach dip and Chipotle Alfredo w chicken. Both were amazing as were the margaritas.

The restaurant specializes in large size meat cuts. The food was very good but it did take about 45 minutes to get the main course. The open contemporary decor is nice. Moreover, the restaurant has almost an entire wall of wine selections and open bar space as you enter. Yes, it is a little pricey.

I would have given a 5 if it wasn’t for the waiting area. It’s very SMALL and CONGESTED.

First time visiting West Texas Chop House on the east side. Visited on a Friday night around 8 p.m. Place was packed but we were seated within 25 minutes for a party of 2. Others were waiting 45 min to an hr. Our waiter Rene was friendly and courteous and didn’t hesitate when asked to recommend his preference over a chicken avocado sandwich or a burger. We ordered an Alejandro burger with fries and a filet mignon with onion rings. The meat flavor was delicious though the food is a bit over priced and the music was so loud everyone was talking so loud in order to talk over the noise. Be prepared to spend a pretty penny even for a party of 2 80-100$. Rene was excellent and we may visit again when not so busy to try their lunch menu.

The food was good, except for the steak my grandmother ordered. She asked for medium rare, and got it well done. They did take it back and got it right. But was made to go. Over all I’d recommend the rib eye chicharrón. Those were excellent . The rib eye tacos were good too.

The restaurant provided a comfortable setting. There is ample seating for dining and a small bar. The meal was well prepared and tasty. I had the West TX burger with a side of onion rings.
