I want to try the lunch counter again when the timing is right. Menu looks reallly good. Friends love it. I remember the cafe fondly from college days. I go to the Pharmacy for everything from gifts to vaccines and just recently for icepacks to help a friend getting a new shoulder. Everybody in there is so helpful, like the drug and soda counter from my childhood hometown. Don’t forget to pick up Hubs or Virginia Diner Peanuts… and I bet you can’t resist getting something sweet from the many selections at the old fashioned candy counter. I’ll let you know about my eating experience when I get back for that.

Standard American fare, old school deli/cafe inside a pharmacy. Food was decent. Service was good. The chairs were small and not very comfortable, wobbly table. If you’re looking for decent priced food, nothing fussy or fancy where there’s something for everyone, this is a good place to go.

Went for breakfast 11 am sat for 30 min no service lady elderly looked like she was worn out gave us menus didn’t speak at all and just walked away I not mad but was concerned you need to hire more people to work the Deli. I know people now days just don’t want t to work especially the younger generation. I find bad service most everywhere you go these days.. we did leave. We did get excellent service at Eats 33 about out 30 min later today.

Well, this was a disappointing experience. I’ve had many breakfast meals here in the past but it seems like they have lost the love. Coffee was hot but never got a refill. Breakfast is supposed to come with coffee but it looks like we got charged for them. Son got cornbeef hash and I got feta spinach omelette with home fries. The home fries tasted nasty, like old bacon grease. The omelette is supposed to be made with 3 eggs and it looks like im an egg short. Overall, hated it. Son said his meal was fine but not great. I complained about the home fries and was parleyed with attitude instead of trying to fix my issue. Won’t be going back.

It’s a hole in the wall place so you know it’s good. It’s in a drugstore on the left and there is where the magic happens. They’ve been doing it since 1949. Super friendly staff and yes we will be going again.

We go to Westbury frequently for breakfast. Their food and service are excellent! Highly recommend them for breakfast and don’t know about lunch. Haven’t been there for lunch. But they’re good food and good people.

I’ve been eating here for YEARS and I’ve never had an issue but today was I was extremely disappointed. I always get the salt herring breakfast. Today my hearing wasn’t fried well and it tasted as if it was fried in old grease. My husband’s fish was the same. My potatoes weren’t fried well either and they were extremely greasy with no flavor. In my 6 years of eating here, my food has always been perfect. This was my cue to give Westbury a break…
