We had no idea this place had such great happy hour deals when we went. We’ve been wanting to try but were delighted to find that almost everything we got was half off. We opted for drinks, starters and dim sum so we could try lots of things. Atmosphere was nice and service was friendly, the portions were also very large for the price. Drinks were good and everything we had was very flavorful as well and had a good amount of heat. Make sure you pay attention to the hotness levels if you aren’t big on spicy. We’ll definitely be back soon.

Great Happy Hour Deal EVERYDAY from 4-7pm. Came in with friends on a Saturday and enjoyed sharing small plates. The fried green beans and the vegetarian curry puffs were our favorites. The Tom yum soup was also nice.

Where do I begin!? The ambiance is both intimate and welcoming. I had the honor of having Mike as my server and he gave the most attentive service ever! I started off with the crispy fried green beens and boy was that one hell of a starter! The lamb dumplings are simply to die for and for my entree I had the shrimp lo mein with a broth at the end that was meant to warm your soul. Also got to leave with a nice food for thought from the fabulous owner named Trey! What a way to kick of Black Restaurant Experience in RVA! I’ll be back soon! You guys have gained a valued customer and fan! All the inspiration I needed for my little business 😉

If I could do a 5 negative star I would. I decided to try on the recommendation of someone. Firstly it did not look or feel clean in there, not to mention the bartender whom I saw touch everything with his hands then proceeded to touch food without a drop of water, sanitizer nor gloves. I should have left but I decided to stay. I ordered eggplant, lo mein and dumplings which came to a whopping $60. I got home and there was no rice with my eggplant. Also I was very taken back because I went in ordered food, waited for it and I was auto charged 18% gratuity. I am a very generous tipper because I worked in the service industry but that was not cool at all. I called the business phone # listed which seemed to be a personal line and not set up as a business. I decided to try emailing and have not received a response to date sent 2 weeks ago.

The food is awesome! No cookie cutter Chinese here! Try the lamb dumplings! This is a new restaurant that took over the spot of an old restaurant. The old restaurant name is still on the door and the window but there is a sign out front for Wok. Atmosphere isn’t the greatest. She really needs a little polish and a little paint, but with food like that just close your eyes and enjoy. Also half price apps from 4-7!

Really great tasting dishes! Each one was packed with great flavor and the spice levels were on point. Chilli Oil Wontons, Thai Yellow Curry, Pork Belly Lettuce Wraps, and Crispy Fried Green Beans were delicious. The Chinese Bhel was an awesome palate cleanser at the end.

I ordered a lomein and pad thai. The chicken lomein was so bland in taste, couldn’t finish it. Pad thai was little better than that. But both entree were soggy with salty stew.
