Food is good, portions are so inconsistent between employees, its off-putting. I’ve gotten huge burritos and then skinny ones like today. Consistency is an issue with this location and the one in Cutler Bay. The Kendall Dr and the 137th Ave locations are much better. I love the food but I don’t eat Cantina Grill as often as I would if every experience was at least very good. I know being consistent across multiple locations is tough for a smaller chain but it’s the commitment they chose to make when they expanded. I also agree with another reviewer that mentioned a rude employee. They must have gotten the same employee I got today because I think its pretty rude not to educate your customers on the new rewards program and to be stingy with the food.

One of the worst Mexican restaurants I’ve ever ordered from. I’m Mexican and just moved to Miami. I’ve been hoping to find good Mexican restaurants and this is NOT it.They got part of our order wrong. The nachos pictured look completely different than what we received. It was essentially just chips with meat on top. The food has a terrible after taste and part of it was burnt. You can make better food at home. Don’t waste your time and money ordering from this place.

Worst customer service experience. One employee got extremely upset when taking my order because I asked for two separate orders. He started to insult me and my mother and throw items around saying he didn’t want to serve us anymore and we can get out because this was so complicated, this was a 4 item order I didn’t think it was that complicated since I’ve ordered like that before and he didn’t even try to make anything he just memorizing the order. One of the other employee saw how crazy and aggressive he was getting and offered to finish the order. But this will be the last time we will go. As the same employee mentioned he didn’t care what I thought because he claims he can do whatever he wants and will continue to work there. So my guess this is a normal thing and this is how they treat their customers since no one else spoke up and allowed that. I chose to spend my money somewhere we’re treated with more respect. Especially verbally and treating an older person that way and having other customer charm in on the harassment. Xochex cantina grill do better!

One of the worst places to eat. They have no sense of cooking. First of all the ladies there make u wait long coz they are always grumpy for no apparent reason. They would half heartedly start ur order. They don’t care if chicken or beef is being cooked together and with same spatulas. Talk about food allergies or contamination, do they care? Naaahh!! The pieces of meat are going here and there over the veggies. They don’t care. You have to consistently repeat what u want coz the lady doesn’t listen at all or maybe doesn’t want to. Or maybe both!! If you are a Vegetarian, Vegan or Allergic to any particular meat, stay the F away from this place.

When I came in today, there was a troubled customer being quite rude because he wanted more sauces than what the workers are allowed to give. The staff handled it well, and professionally. The staff here has always been nice every time I go, and the food is great! Radnell, one of the staff members, has always been friendly to me, but ppl are always quicker to complain and critique, than to give good feedback, so I felt inspired to leave this review. Thank you.

Best burritos in town. Fresh tortillas and made to order counter service. Melted queso is a must and the staff is really friendly. They also have great spicy habanero salsa and even hot sauce if you ask and I haven’t finished it recently. Everything comes out hot and portions are very filling.
