The food was amazing. I would definitely suggest the fried octopus. The lamb gyro was great. I would say the food is of the best Greek I’ve ever had. Service is quick to get you seated. Once seated, they come fairly quick with the food. Once you get started, the employees kinda seem to forget about you. I did have to get up to ask for my water to be filled, and while that, I asked for a napkin. She failed to get me a napkin, so I just grabbed one myself. I would still highly recommend this place because it was that good. Everyone has a bad day.. it could have been their bad day.

We have recently moved from Seattle to Walla Walla to be close to my husband’s family and everybody was telling me i had to try Yamas since my family is Greek. I am a tough critic since I grew up with my mothers and grandmothers Greek cooking. Well, I was not disappointed – the food was excellent- and I’ve been to many Greek restaurants in the US! Even more so, the the special on the day was grilled octopus: it’s rare to have it cooked properly- at Yamas the octopus was tender, almost succulent; the taste of olive oil, oregano, pepper and salt made me think I was sitting at one of the seaside tavernas on a Greek island. Combined with warm pitta bread and fresh lettuce/ cucumber salad it made for a simple but elegant meal- just add the wine!

Amaaazing food! We had the spanikopita appetizer (easily shared by 4 or tasters for 6), and the lamb rib and chicken souvlaki plates. Oh, my, oh, my. So good, and plenty to bring home. The rice was cooked to perfection, and the fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The tzatziki and hummus were perfect. This is a restaurant worth every one of these five stars!

This was my favorite lunch spot in downtown Walla Walla! The gyro bowl is one of the best I’ve had. I also tried a lamb rib bowl another day and wasn’t as impressed with that (not much meat on the bones and most was scorched off). Regardless, for the price, quick service, and nice portions, this place still deserves a 5 stars from me.

This place is AMAZING! I’ve personally never experienced better service in my life. We showed up right before the dinner rush started so it was pretty slow and no one was there yet. We sat outside and the servers were ON TOP OF IT! The food came out in a timely manner. They kept our water filled and checked on us often…we actually timed it…every 9-10 minutes one of them came out to check on us and the other diners as they started to get busy. But it wasn’t annoying and pushy…it was purely amazing service and we didn’t have to wait on anything! THE FOOD…truly in my top 5 EVER! The lamb was so tender and seasoned perfectly. The hummus platter is soooo good with all the differ flavors and olives to snack on! Honestly, if I lived closer they would know me by name because I would be there so often!
