There is a fairly new place (1 year old) run by a VERY friendly Greek gent called Jersey Gyros in Lodi …if you are a fan of vinegar and garlic this place is for you the greek fries are bananas so freakin’ good! Tzatziki sauce is perfection and everything is fresh and clearly made with love… his mom even home cooks all the deserts. He has been open for 1 year now and I wish him years more of success. Chefs kiss I will definitely be going back! Northern Greek food is SOOOO delicious! This authentic cuisine is seriously to die for! LOVE IT!

Located at a strip mall off of Main Street in Lodi, Jersey Gyros definitely focused on providing high quality assortment of authentic Greek food for take out and delivery. This establishment has a few tables for dine-in which I had lunch today. Upon arrival, the 1,100-square foot hand-painted mural of the Greek goddess Artemis from a local artist greeted the patrons. The place was clean, new, and aesthetically pleasing with Greek music playing for one’s enjoyment. Everything looked good on the menu and went for the Paketo Platter which came with 1 protein (lamb gyro), 1 base (Greek salad), 1 spread (tzatziki) and 1 side (Greek fries) served with pita bread accompanying an orange juice drink. The food arrived hot and came in their eco-friendly takeout box from Greece ensuring the ink from the box’s labels does not get into the food. Their gyro didn’t skimp on the meat portion which was well seasoned and delicious. The Greek fries were crispy and loaded with feta. The salad included one large blocks of feta. While eating, Mike the owner, a first generation American, came around each table to make sure everything was going right. We had a nice conversation and mentioned he born into a family of restaurateurs and says his passion for the industry is in his blood. I believe him as everything tasted as one was having dinner at a family friend’s house which I can recommend.

Ordered a gyro sandwich somehow got souvlaki, not upset bc it had very good flavor will def be back to try the actual gyro. Even the fries are perfectly seasoned, recommend

I come here almost everyday and im never dissatisfied. The food is always good especially the bulger wheat lemon potatoes and chicken. The staff and owner are very nice and friendly. The pita bread is fresh and tastes fantastic I highly recommend giving this place a try

This new restaurant in Lodi did not disappoint. Lamb Gyro was very tasty and humongous. Greek fries very good and so was the custard cake. This will be my go to Gyro spot going forward.

there food is soooo good!! came here a couple times with my husband and we both always choose this as our first take out meal. Love that they stuff the gyros the perfect amount and everything tastes so flavorful! would definitely recommend this place to try out! we always recommend the lamb gyros.

Have been eating at Jersey Gyros for the past week, can’t get enough! The gyros are so authentic, I feel like I’m back in Greece when I eat them. The souvlakia are cooked and seasoned to perfection. The Greek yellow sauce complements the chicken gyro and souvlaki so well. The place is clean, new, and aesthetically pleasing, it’s really nice place to dine in. Today, I ate the chicken gyro, and got the pork souvlaki to go. I can’t wait to try everything on the menu!

I’ve never had a gyro before in my life. Got talked into this place a bit after they opened and was not disappointed at all. There were a few misses, but that’s ok because they were still good and there are more hits. The Greek fries are really yummy as well.

My husband and I were so happy with our meals. I haven’t had a good gyro since I’ve moved to the east coast. I was at my Drs. Office and saw the reviews at this location so had my husband drive over 20 minutes so I could have a gyro. I won’t waste time or money anywhere else. The lamb had such great flavors and my husband had the pork. I can’t wait to go back again lol.
