Wow, a hidden gem of a full service restaurant. Menu has daily specials plus a whole page of German dishes to choose from. They even have make to order pizza. Dinners include a soup and salad bar with homemade soup and pasta salads. The spinach dip is to die for. The staff is warm and friendly, giving the restaurant a home like feel. We will be stopping again. Worth a road trip.

We had several good meals here in the past. Shelly and Dave are now gone. Menu is now only sandwiches. It went from a huge menu to sandwiches. Not 1 entree. Salad bar is still there, but sandwiches don’t include the salad bar. Why bother? There was 1 large group of 8 eating, they had their food. 5 people including us at the bar. When we asked for a menu bartender said its an hour wait…!?! New bartender is extremely unfriendly . I predict this will be closed very soon. Sad it was building a good business.

Tracy is AMAZING! She cares about the quality of the food and makes sure customers are happy. The NEW Windfall 52 is definitely a place to check out. Order some tasty food and a cold drink and enjoy yourself. So glad there is a place close by that we can enjoy now. Thank you Tracy!

Good food. The main bartender can appear like he has little to no personality but once you have a few drinks and get him going he is funny. Shelley has sold her soul to the devil I’m convinced with how good her food is. I don’t think I’ve had a bad meal yet. The Saturday ribs and seafood special I get is a great deal for what you get. The German menu is awesome as well. She is one of the only, If not the only place to offer an actual salad bar. Would recommend.

We tried the smoked menu items. The ribs were great! Glad I only ordered 1/2 rack. As usual the soup & salad bar was a treat, everything was fresh made. We will be back!

Shelley’s is a wonderful up north restaurant where everybody knows your name. Delicious home made food with amazing staff and good prices. Don’t come here expecting to be waited in hand and foot, come here to be treated like family and leave with a belly full of food and a face full of smiles. Never a bad thing on the menu and great portions. Very family friendly!

If you want to me made to feel uncomfortable as you wait 1 1/2 hours for a cold fish fry when it’s not at full capacity this is definitely your place! Oh and the free entertainment of unprofessionalism as the owner yells at her bartender Dave for trying to take care of patrons in a timely manner. Next person who wants to leave a hefty tip maybe just bring the owner some extra hinges for the front door since it may not work so well from her slamming it and making a scene.

Good food horrible service! Male bartender should not be behind a bar. Can’t keep up with 15 patrons in the bar. He kept ignoring us. We thought our money was no good. I thought I was going to have to go make my own drink and for the rest of the bar…. Bartender also ignored us when we wanted to pay our bill. Others had the same issue. Shelly was horribly rude when asked a question about the food. Very snotty response!! We gave them three chances and the service kept getting worse and worse. Too bad because the food is very good! I’ve personally work in the bar/food service business in the past where I was the only person behind the bar and cooking. I am very understanding with when it is busy. You can have a bad experience and that is why we continued to give them a chance. No more! If you do go, I hope you have a lot of time to kill because there is no such thing as fast at this establishment. If your not a local, don’t bother.
