Great service. The fried pickles and pizza were great, but the cheesecake was to my surprise really spicy and did not have a graham crust. This made it resemble a spicy hummus more than a dessert cheesecake

I’m an international traveler who went in with modest expectations and was surprised by an amazing meal! Bruschetta with lions head mushrooms, daikon and whipped apricot Greek yogurt was delicious, but it was the chilled blueberry soup with creme fraiche and basil oil that blew me away. One of the best dishes I’ve ever had! Atmosphere was lively but quiet and the service attentive without being intrusive. I’ll definitely be back on my next trip to Fargo (or maybe for lunch tomorrow before I leave town).

The food was a solid 3 and the service was a solid 2. I’ve heard nothing but fabulous things about The Toasted Frog, so I was a little disappointed by my experience. The waitress had no personality and was a little slow. The whole experience was quite impersonal. There is a wheelchair ramp, so kudos to The Toasted Frog for being handicap accessible. The bathrooms and the restaurant were incredibly clean, but it wasn’t very comfortable. Most of the tables are high top, so not the best for a sit down restaurant. The art on the wall is fabulous, though! Very fun and quirky. The truffle fries were SO good, but the drinks and desserts were underwhelming at best. If I had the choice, I wouldn’t go back. Just not my cup of tea.

Delicious! Had a very nice meal here and it was just what I wanted. A good amount of food and it was delicious and light. Plenty of great options from their pizzas to salmon and steak. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious. They also have a great selection of beverages: cider, beer, wine, and a amazing cocktail list. Also in a great part of downtown that is fun to walkthrough (even in these freezing temperatures.) overall gets a big thumbs up from me and I will be keeping this place in mind for future date nights!

Love coming here for date night! Food is so tasty. The craft cocktails, beer, and wine selection leave something for everyone. Service is always great. The only thing negative is when I saw the floor at the end of the hallway when I went to the bathroom. I understand that it is an extension of the kitchen, but in the words of Jimmy Fallon: EW.

Great food. Service was awful. Took our orders, didn’t check up on our table for another 25 minutes. Didn’t get drinks until our entrees had been at the table for probably ten minutes already. When entrees were sat down, we asked “can we get our drinks?” And the response was, “maybe” and didn’t hear anything for another 5-10 minutes. Again, food was great but the experience was totally ruined by the service

I really enjoyed our visit. I’m not a fan of going downtown, which is really the only downside for this place. Great atmosphere and service! I had a Cordon Bleu sandwich and sweet potato waffle fries with an Old Fashioned made right. They also have very tasty wood-fired pizzas. We will definitely be back after a very wonderful visit!

The pork belly and fried egg pizza is amazingly good. The lamb burger is like a curry gem on a bun. The bison pot pie was very tasty, and the flaky crust on top was more flaky than a croissant. The fish tacos were good too.
