I had a very unpleasant experience at your pizza place today. I called ahead and ordered a pizza, but when I came to pick it up, the cook was very rude to me. She scolded me for using my cell phone and pointed to a small sign that said no cell phones allowed. I had never seen that sign before and no one had ever told me about it. I felt offended by her attitude and words, so I told her that I would not come back. She said “good” and turned away. When I checked the pizza in the car, I saw that the crust was burnt.

Nice little restaurant with great service! Clean, well managed, and delicious Italian food for lunch and dinner. Generous salads and great pizza! Who doesn’t love ice cream! Always a line for that post dinner dessert so come early! They just added shade panels over the outside dining area too!

I can only speak about the ice cream, but it has been excellent each time I have been here. The prices are great, especially considering the generous portions. Angelo’s has sufficient seating outside, including a patio that provides shelter from rain or the hot sun.

The pizza slices were hot and fresh unlike most slice shops. It was greasy but I do love a greasy pizza when I’m in the mood for one 🙂 chocolate malt was good but I wish they had a 8oz milkshake option. I shared my small with my son and we still only drank half! Felt wasteful and like you could add a $2.50 8oz milkshakes

The server we had..I apologize for not recalling her name but we were to only people in there at 1pm on Sunday the 6th of March 2022..was incredible. We gave her good natured grief and she played along perfectly. In truth she is what bumped this review up to the 5 star level. We had a small pizza which had a great thin crunchy crust, a massive chef salad, eggplant parm with an equally large side salad, chicken parm the same. We loved the sauce and the large garlicy garlic bread. I mention that because you often taste very little to no garlic. The pasta was just average as was the eggplant. Look at the thumb for reference on the size of the salads. Those are average adult thumbs not those of a child.

My family and I stopped here after our trip to the Arboretum and have no regrets. It’s exactly how you would imagine a pizzeria. Hand tossed delicious pizza and simple salads with homemade house dressing. Nothing over the top but in some cases simple is best. The menu isn’t overwhelming, the place was clean, the service was great and they have ice cream on the spot. We couldn’t have been happier with the way we ended our day and will be back after I next trip.

Well like everybody they are short-staffed but they did come and apologized and said it would be a few minutes there ice cream is just wonderful once we got it no complaints at all 5 stars on their ice cream especially the hard ice cream and it was not expensive at all
