This place was jammed packed. It was so loud it was hard to hear yourself think. But, not a controllable aspect. The hornets were a plenty outside so we chose indoor seating but the view of the water looked pretty. The service was great. Should have asked for the burger to be made how we like it. All burgers seem to come well done (waitress didn’t ask and I didn’t think to tell her) but the well done is a bit dry. Flavor was good. Nachos had a different kind of cheese sauce, not to my liking, but was a nice size portion for sharing with several.

Make reservations online or expect a wait to be seated. This place is huge, like a mini city. Goes out over the water about 100 ft. We went on a Friday and heard a great band. I tried the cod with hush puppies and a salad. Everything was delicious. A very large portion of cod, took home for hubby. Will go back, very nice atmosphere. I want to try the lunch specials for under $10 next.

I went to JPs not long ago as it was close to the lake and we wanted to sit by the water and enjoy the view. The first thing we got hit with is the smell of the water as the lake wasn’t the cleanest. We ate inside instead.

Overall the experience at JP’s has been nothing but exciting! Wonderful staff, great food, and welcoming atmosphere. I highly encourage everyone to try the shrimp po boy! Fantastic sandwich with tons of flavor. Huge thanks to the food truck staff for rocking out orders with a full restaurant of hungry customers. Keep up the hard work!

Party of five waiting for a table. First asked if we would take a 4 top and pull an extra chair up to table. I said we would rather wait for a larger table. Eventually got a very nice table on the water. Took the waitress way too long to get our drink order and deliver. Then, she disappeared and we waited for a good 10 to 15 minutes before ordering. Took another 20 to 30 minutes to get our food and one of our party didn’t get hers at all but they said it was coming. Well, it never did. Waitress said she would get it to go and remove the charge from our bill. We waited for another 15 minutes and still no food. Asked to see the manager. Never showed up. When we were walking out the waitress brought the carryout order. Sandwich yes! Onion rings? No.

First time here and I LOVE atmosphere of this place!! It was lively and pretty packed. Came for a late dinner on a Thursday at about 7:30, but only waited about ten minutes for an open table. The Tequila Lime Chicken Nachos dish was HUGE and soo good! The chicken was a little spicy, but not too much. Overall really enjoyed my experience here and can’t wait to return in the summer for patio views and to hear the live bands play ☺

OMG! This is impressive. I made a reservation for brunch on Sunday to bring a friend to my favorite restaurant & enjoy the beautiful view. Unfortunately, they didn’t have power because of the crazy storm. I did get an automated text & email stating that. But then I got a phone call from the owner Dean!! Yes, Dean personally called and apologized for the inconvenience! Now that is over the top customer service! As I said this is my favorite restaurant. Great food, great prices & beautiful view. I will definitely be back! Everyone should support local/family business!!!

Stopped here on a whim on our trip from Columbus Ohio to Detroit. Would highly recommend!! Dawson the bartender was awesome and gave great recommendations. We had the wings and the fish tacos, both were delicious!
