The food is amazing. It gets better and better every time we go to dinner. It was very busy on a Tuesday, but the service was still fantastic. I would definitely recommend the sangria over a margarita. The fried ice cream was so good! We can’t wait to go back

Great authentic food, first visit, had the combo and got a cheese burrito, which was awesome, also had the cheese pepper, which was also good, got sliced avocado with it, prices are reasonable, I enjoyed it, my wife had the arroz con camaron, she didn’t like it, said it didn’t have any flavor, very casual restaurant and bar, serves beer and wine only , hope to be back, staff was great, thank you !

I’ve lived in the area for one year and have truly been displeased with the Mexican food here. The food at El Preferido is the most SEASONED Mexican food I have had since relocating here. Sounds silly, but it’s true. I only get my Mexican food from this location–I wont’ even try anywhere else in Rock Hill and surrounding areas due to unseasoned meats from other restaurants! This is the best Mexican food around!

Fantastic food. Best fajitas I have ever had. The meats were tender, the veggies cooked perfectly, the tortillas moist and good sized. And the Carnitas which my wife got were unbelievable. Melted in your mouth with tons of pork flavor! The chips and salsa were good too . Try this place, the inside is not fancy, but the food is wonderful.

Great choice for Mexican food with the family. The prices are reasonable and the food is good. We ordered enchiladas and shrimp chipotle. Both meals were tasty and similar to other Mexican restaurants. Service was exceptional. We were greeted kindly upon entering and seated immediately. The staff was very helpful and attentive. They brought chips and salsa and refilled it promptly as it got low. They do not have a full bar but do have a few beer selections. The lighting was bright and the place was clean. If anything, it lacks ambiance so while not great for a first date, it would be a great place to bring your family and friends or stop in for a quick meal. I will go back and I feel good about recommending it.
