I really want to be able to give this place more stars because the food is really good. It’s a lovely historic building and awesome deck on a lake. My issues lay more with the owners. When the place is closing up and you are getting a carry out, it remains to be seen why the host (blond female owner which I verified from FB photos) cannot be bothered to ring up the order which was ready. She also acted like you the guest must be stupid for not seeing that the “broom closet” looking female bathroom is the bathroom.

To be fair this place was crazy busy and had enough staff to navigate the narrow paths to the tables on the 2 decks. We waited over 45 minutes (okay maybe because of the time we arrived). And didn’t see our waitress again until after a hostess delivered our food. The rice and the asparagus were both crunchy and tough! There was so much garlic in the mashed potatoes and my steak I swear someone pored it on. The dessert tray has a very nice variety and were delicious. We will go back but not order what we had tonight.

First time experience for our anniversary. Food was great, patio with live music very relaxing. My husband had the salmon and I had the Yellow Bellied Perch. Dessert was Key Lime pie. Excellent. Our server Madison (Maddy) was great. Will definitely be returning!

Arrived this afternoon at 4:55pm, seated on the lower deck, far left. Waited until 5:25pm to be waited on. Table to the right and upper deck directly above us arrived after us and were waited on rather quickly. Feeling frustrated (along with extremely disappointed) we left and went to Turk lake for dinner! Sadly, we will not be back…

Hadn’t eaten on the deck here for a couple of years. Decided to stop in on our Anniversary. BIG MISTAKE. The food used to be quite good – no longer. Perhaps the worst meal we have had anywhere. NO flavor. Or what little there was, was bad. Total disappointment. Will never go there again and regret the $150.00 we spent and an early evening wasted.
