Loved the food and the seating arrangements. From the outside this place looks small, but once you step in you are instantly swept away by the size of this place. The smell when walking through the door is just amazing I found my new regular dining spot. Wish the menu had mozzarella sticks and marinara sauce, but other than that this place is really S-class top of the line.

Green beans and purple hull peas were good. But the chicken friend steak was soo hard and the mashed potatoes were dry. Tasted like frozen chicken friend steak they put in a fryer. Also was the first time I’ve been there. I see there’s a bunch of positive reviews but I hate I didn’t get to leave a good one unfortunately. I love chicken friend steak but this was the worst I’ve ever had.

Love the food and atmosphere!! Remember when Murt Myrick had the flower shop in this town! Then they turned it into the castor cafe then it closed down and then went off to the next year I had to get the water out of the car and then you could get some more of the best food in the city for you and your family!

Nice atmosphere. Friendly service. Hamburger steak dinner tasted great and was just the right size for me. Okra was delicious. Gravy had just the right amount of seasoning. Will eat here again when in the area.

The food is great, don’t get me wrong, but two nights in a row now, at least a half an hour or more before they were supposed to close, they quit answering the phones. Bad for business…..just lost ours

We enjoyed having dinner at this restaurant while we was in town for my cousins graduation at Castor High School. Food was delicious and I was surprised to see that a cousin of mine was working there…very nice clean place to eat…..we will definitely be back the next time we are in town….
