I was in town for work and wanted to have dinner somewhere I’d never been so I went to Newk’s. I had a Caesar Salad with grilled chicken. It was really good. I also had a slice of their homemade strawberry cake, and it was wonderful!

Came here on a long road trip back home and after a week of junk food. It was great to eat something healthy and not deep fried. The Italian sub and tomato soup was delicious. My wife got the Southern salad and said it was superb. Recommend it as a place if you’re looking to watch the waistline.

I wasn’t overly impressed with the amount of service I received, or my cold mac n cheese. the new newk’s philly was alright, just the taste of the peppers on it were overwhelming. also the floors were slick and the tables were a mess.

Iordered a 1/2 pimento cheese with a BOWL of pasta salad. Not a side of pasta salad, a bowl. I paid $13 for this. Upon checking my bag, I received a side size of pasta salad. I asked the man at the front about this, and he said that this 4 oz sized cup was a bowl. I have worked at Newks and know that a BOWL of pasta salad or fruit is the size of a to-go cup of soup. After stating this, he says no that is the bowl. Extremely disappointed in the customer service, or lack thereof.

I’m extremely upset how they start cutting the Simon for the salad. My half a sandwich was not in the bag and when I bought it to the manager the young girl wouldn’t even look up to say I’m sorry or to explain anything to me. I left there and went to University Avenue the manager Terry was so nice and apologize for the Jackson store maybe he needs to come work on this side to teach them how to respect and value customer service

I cried laughing seeing the amount of pepper in my pizza. Maybe accidentally dropped a bottle or two of pepper in here lol. Asked for refund the staffs were nice about it. Will try next time without the pepper.

The food was so yummy and the service was quick and friendly. I got the choose two half sandwich and half salad. I got the Newk Q and ceasar salad and both were very good. My friend got a simple sandwich and a garden salad with ranch. Her salad had a huge piece of ice at the bottom of the bowl. Other than the ice she said it was good. My other friend got the philly steak sandwich with a side of bbq chips. In his opinion it was scrumptious.
