Came in for an early dinner and was seated right away. They have a very varied menu and I settled on chicken boscaiola with penne pasta which I had never had before. It took awhile to arrive which I always consider a good thing. Usually means it is made fresh. It was excellent. Even saved some for my wife to try and she agreed. I’ll be back to try other dishes and feel confident that they will be great too.

Stopped here for dinner tonight and the food was excellent. Had the chicken and shrimp special and the flavor was perfect and the shrimp were very large. Atmosphere was nice and the service was outstanding. Was so glad I stopped here for dinner, don’t think I could have gotten better food or better service anywhere else. I highly recommend Giovanna’s for a great meal.

If you are wanting to eat in a timely matter or eat the same time as your company DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!!. Went here for dinner and we order our meals at the same time. Mine came out and my wife’s didn’t. After 10 minutes I asked how much longer for hers. The waiter went to check and returned to say hers had been completely looked over and they would start on it then. 45 minutes later and me getting rude with the later her meal came out. (It was creamy chicken parm). So needles to say her meal was an hour later after mine. When it came to the plate the waiter apologized again and said they would comp her meal. When we finished eating and paid the bill we realized they only discounted it by $3.00. We won’t go back again.

We made the mistake of stopping here at 6pm for dinner. Apparently the AC broke 4 days ago so the restaurant felt like a sauna. We were foolish to stay and order food anyway. The restaurant had several customers so we thought it must be a good place to eat. The waitress eventually took our order and within a few minutes my daughter received her pasta. But 45 minutes later, the rest of our party were still waiting for our food. When I saw the waitress serve a new customer what I am pretty sure was our salads, I inquired with the staff about the status of our food. Long story short, the waitress never put our order in to the cook ( or that’s what the cook claims) and the food my daughter received so quickly was actually someone else’s order. So I guess that customer never received his pasta. The staff gave a half hearted “sorry” and proceeded to charge us for what my daughter ate. We decided to leave and not wait for our food. Apparently our waitress quit on the spot a few minutes prior but she was watching us pay at the cashier and not once addressed us. All of the patrons at this place and most of the staff are white and my party was not all white. I sure hope that wasn’t part of the problem here. I don’t recommend eating here and doubt this place meets health standards with the AC broken.

Finally got to go back to this place after several years out of town. Its just as good–if not better–than it was ! We had the stuffed mushrooms, pizza and pastas. It was all great. The prices are still amazing and the owners are very friendly. We will definitely be back next time we’re in the area.

My friend and I had the best time last Sat night at Giovannas. It was like walking back in time with their ocean blue painted walls that just made you feel good inside. Then there was the cute little pink Christmas tree that sits on the counter where you check out. I loved it. Our waitress was great, she was so polite and pleasant to talk to, always seeing to our needs. Now to the big question, the food. The food was great. I had a veggie calzone, it was made to perfection. My friend had the chicken florentine, it was to die for, great taste, everything just melted in your mouth. Not sure who the lady was when we checked out, was thinking she was the owner, could not have been any nicer as well. We all had a great laugh at the end of the evening. Check out Giovanna’s, you won’t regret it.
