This was my first of many trips to Hazen and this little city is absolutely beautiful. We went to Bee’s Café on our lunch break after working outside in 21° NoDak weather for a much needed hot meal. The other two guys had bacon cheeseburgers, fries & sodas. They said that the burgers were good. My biscuits and gravy were poorly made, not hot at all and the gravy was something more of a condensed soup than anything tasting or even looking like “gravy”. Frozen biscuits blah… the service was acceptable and the atmosphere was what you’d expect from a small diner, cozy and quiet. I’ll be back but I will never order breakfast again.

Perfect lunch destination. Burgers are top notch. Tuesday tacos are the best around.

My experience here at Bee’s was awesome. My mother loves their chicken strips, and their fries were good. Personally i didn’t go in to get the food due to covid, but my dad did and said the service was great! He liked the music playing as well.

My husband and I both ordered from the breakfast menu. The portions were good. My husband ordered chicken fried steak. He said it was about the best he’d ever had. His over-easy eggs were cooked perfectly. I ordered the Ranchers Breakfast. The hash browns were cooked to perfection and my basted eggs were cooked perfectly. Our server was super friendly. Overall, a great experience!

I ordered eggs over medium, hashbrowns, bacon, toast. My eggs were over easy, hashbrowns were absolutely awful. They tasted like they were cooked in pam cooking spray and week old grease. They were very thin, crispy, and burnt when they should be golden and fluffy. My toast wasn’t even hot enough to melt the margarine that was slapped on it. My daughter and I also ordered hot chocolate which was delivered in to-go mugs to which was thrown outside of the restaurant because even that was gross. If my child won’t drink the hot chocolate, you know it’s bad. I usually give places 3 strikes before they are off the list but if a drink is horrible, not sure how it can go up.

My dad & his friend stopped after an emergency vet visit…knowing that I work here…he wanted to see what it was like & of course they were hungry…both men stated that the Breakfast they ordered was hands down the best country fried steak they ever had, portions were huge & the staff was amazing…Shylo was super courteous & attentive! Thank you, Chris for an amazing & awesome place to eat & unwind after a horrible tragedy …the kindness by the staff was not unnoticed…
