This small place had great service for inside dining. The sampler platter comes with four meat choices and three sides, plenty to share with another person. The pulled pork was outstanding and the turkey, brisket, and burnt ends were tasty as well. The beans were very good. We would definitely dine there again.

I ate the First Runner Up platter with brisket, sausage, beans, jalapeno cheesy corn, and a rib substituted for the hot wings. Everything was very good and tender. The sausage had great flavor and the brisket has a very nice bite and smoke profile. Beans were nice and thick (not runny and did not taste like Bush’s Best from a can). The jalapeno cheesy corn was awesome as well. Rib was nice and tender with good smoke. I plan to be back, best new place that I’ve tried recently because they were out of burnt ends and I want to try them.

Very friendly staff and decent prices. However, the brisket was easily 50% fat and seriously cold. Not much flavor and tough as well. I expect brisket to break apart with a fork and have at least a hint of smokiness. The brisket is a 100% fail IMO. I will not be visiting here again. They won’t be next years winner with this!

WOW…the burnt tip sandwich with the meal was absolutely delicious. I’ve been to gates and Jacks…but my taste buds liked this better. The staff was friendly and helpful. Amazing food and great price. I will come here again next time I am in KC!!

Friendly and delicious food! Our 8 year old said it was the best BBQ he’s ever had and he’s tried many in KC. He thought the ribs melted in his mouth. Our favorites were the ribs and cheesy potatoes! Thanks for filling us up before we got back on the road to go home!

This place made me feel like I was back home. My wife and I had a Turkey sandwich and Brisket sandwich and tried each others. They were both great. The price was fair and the service and hospitality was great. We will definitely be going back.

Absolutely scrumptious! I love that the meat is not sauced, and there’s plenty of sauces to go on it! My fav was the Sassy Sauce, and my daughter’s the Awesome Sauce! The meat is very tender and smoky. Right on!
