The food is very much home made. The service is attentive. The price matches the quality. Classic soul food offered like Macaroni and Cheese, Collard Greens, Yams and yes Pork Chops, Chicken Wings and Beef Offerings like a Salisbury Steak n Gravy. I Loved the delicious wings the most. NO WING SHORTAGE HERE. You can get a whole wing 2.15 a piece with tax or a 4 wing dinner under 15.00. The choice is yours and so glad I gave it a try!!!!!

What can I say. What great food and what awesome people. This will be the 3rd time I had a meeting catered by them. Fried chicken was delicious collards we’re great and the Mac and cheese was just like momma us to make. I would like to thank them personally on behalf of me and my staff. I will be a returning customer . Y’all try them out it’s a lot of LOVE him and his wife put in this food. Best soul food in town hands down!

My girlfriend went and got take out from here. They are located in a different location (they are having trouble with google changing the address here) so MAKE SURE YOU CALL AND ASK FOR THE NEW ADDRESS! As of right now, the owner stated he is selling plates on the weekend in high point, so once again: make sure you call the number to inquire all the details! The customer service was phenomenal according to my girlfriend. She stated that she called 3 times to inquire the menu, prices, location, etc and Mr. Wilk answered each call happily. We got the oxtail tray and the beef tips tray with rice, yams, Hawaiian roll, & cabbage. The food was amazing. Seasoned to perfection. We highly recommend supporting this local business. We will be returning!

I ordered 4 chicken wings( whole) with Mac n Cheese with yams. I ordered my husband Hamburger steak/ rice with onions, Mac n cheese with strings beans. I would have given 5 stars but the Mac n Cheese and String Beans was too SALTY, but overall

The service was great . But, the best part of this visit was definitely the food . I had the Hamburger steak with Mac and cheese plus the cabbage. Everything was seasoned extremely well. The portion size was exceptional. When food is this good you want as much as possible. A definite return visit will happen for me. And next time I’ll try either the fried fish or the wings with the candied yams and the kool-aid.

Its good, They even have kool-aid! Pictured is hamburger steak and gravy with rice and onion, macaroni and potato salad. (Did not like the potato salad.) Yams, cabbage, and chicken wings smothered in gravy and onions. I would return here.

One of the best home cooked food restaurant I have been to. Service good, look delicious, TASTE GREAT and the serving size was enough for me to eat 2 times and share some with my husband! Absolutely no complaints on my behalf. I order Beef Tips w/Rice, Yams, Collard Greens, and a Roll, everything was VERY DELICIOUS. I definitely will be going back! I highly recommend this place if you want good service and a good meal for the price of your money…….you won’t be disappointed!

I want to wait until I got my food to leave a review. I have tried a few times getting food from here and they were closed or closed earlier. Today I decided to go….1) they were late to open. I believe they were scheduled to open at 1 but didn’t open until almost 1:30 like wow. I figured if you’re scheduled to open at then that means staff should already be in place, food out, and at 1 orders should be taken. They weren’t in no rush
