This place was really nice. To the cute cow decor to the very friendly employees. The food was great as well. We had the fried pickles for appetizer. Which was different than usual. They were pickle spears. All our meals were good and we got full.

They were very busy on a Saturday for lunch, but they were worth the wait. I had never tried calf fries, even though I am an Okie. They were delicious, tasting much like chicken gizzards, only not as tough.

Calf fries are straight from the gas station hot box. Thin, over cooked and very crunchy. For the price of $13.99, they should be fresh and being a “BBQ” restaurant, you would think they would be made inhouse. Mac and cheese was very runny. Ranchero beans are delicious though so that a plus!!!

The brisket sandwich was tasty, though I didn’t care for the extra oil on the bun. Avoid the baked potato salad, it was weirdly tangy. Try a different side.

Our prior experiences were excellent. This time not so much. The catfish was way over cooked. The hushpuppies were missing. The steak was ordered medium well but I had to recook it. It was rare. The baked potato was inedible. The beans and mac and cheese were very good as always. French fries good. We were very disappointed.
