This was my first time coming to Hartz, the staff was very friendly and courteous. I had ordered the 2 piece chicken meal to go and it was cooked very good. As I was waiting I was told about the buffet that it changes every day so what I took pictures of may not be there on the day that you go.

They close at 7pm on weekdays and 6pm on weekends so arriving an hour before they closed probably didn’t help since they had a limited selection of only fried chicken, tenders and baked chicken. The sides selection were your basic fare and bad. Everything else including service was pretty good. Great place to feed the kids if you’re on a budget but a better & fresh selection if you arrive earlier.

Unlike most of the other locations in this chain this one stood apart. Food was prepared in small batches and everything was fresh, not temperature abused nor past its ideal shelf life. I was pleasantly surprised my last visit. So I came back and things were just as my last visit. Fresh food and friendly service. I have gone to numerous locations a myriad of times over the course of some 30 plus years and this location does seem to do things correctly unlike most of the other locations I have frequented.

The best & the cleanest Hartz I’ve ever been too! The staff was very nice & efficient as well! This was also the largest location I’ve ever been too! They were kind enough to ask me what I need that I didn’t see on the buffet and they brought it fresh to my table when ready! 5 stars compared to other locations!

I live this place, the food is always delicious. They have comfort foods, fried, baked, salads, etc. The staff is so nice. Note: Some of the staff refers not be lived streamed on customer’s FB. Please be considerate of others. I ate here a few nights ago and they had liver and onions and let me just say, it tasted better than Luby’s and Golden Corral. It’s not always on the buffet but I wish it was. The bathrooms are always clean as is the dining area as well. They have so many choices that I believe anyone could find something here they would like. There is wheelchair accessible parking with a ramp. However, the door doesn’t have an automatic open, but everyone I’ve met here are cordial and I’m sure there would be someone to help you if you needed help. I don’t want to make them too good of a review or they’ll get busy…lol. Give it a try, food is great!

It’s a good place to eat in, drive through or carry out. Chicken, vegetables, and other things on their menu my favorite is the rolls that they make. I sometimes will drive through just to buy a box of rolls. It’s a Buffet all-you-can-eat. The food is good and fast their building is very noticeable from Uvalde Rd but with all the construction that has been going on around it. It could easily be overlooked. From the intersection of Uvalde @ Wallisville you go south on Uvalde and it’s on the right. It behind/beside the Shell station.

Got there at about 5:30pm; liver & blizzards dried out; no desserts fish fried out; but the manager did let me know; they weren’t going to put anything out, it 30 MINUTES until close; but I went in for vegetabled.
