I have eaten here many times, large portions of delicious barbecue and the tenderest brisket I’ve ever had. The prices are reasonable, they have a small stage out back where there is always some type of entertainment happening and a definite island vibe. The owner is very friendly and great to talk to. This is my go to barbecue spot.

We were happy to see a new quick serve restaurant in Matlacha. We thought we would stop and grab some take home. The portions and appearance were good, but the taste wasn’t. Both the brisket and pork were so dry and the bread crumbled away from the sandwich. The creamy looking coleslaw was completely sour and the Mac & Cheese was not very creamy and lacked flavor. The bbq sauce had a nice flavor. Unfortunately we won’t return. We had high hopes but we’re highly disappointed.

Just outstanding!! Staff was so good to me – I let them recommend everything. Pulled pork and brisket were top notch – crazy good! Sides were equally as good. Loved everything about this place – let them lead the way and lift up the community as they all rebuild after Ian. ❤️

Amazing food. Live music on the weekends. Had the ribs and smoked turkey with all of the sides. It was all awesome. Cool bar and outdoor seating. Bartenders and servers were super cool, relaxing, and fun atmosphere.
