Our waitress was so sweet. Wish I knew her name!! Made our grandson his own little charcuterie plate and he loved it! Food was really good. I had the chicken fried steak sandwich and pasta salad. Both were very good. We will definitely be returning customers.

Charlie’s Smokehouse BBQ is a fantastic place to stop and eat. They serve breakfast in the morning, and the regular menu after 10:30. I ordered the barbecue on Texas toast with baked beans and was impressed; the meat was lean and savory. They make their own sauces, and even invented a spicy bbq version! This restaurant is a classic example of dine in, highway atmosphere where the food is delicious and everyone is friendly!

My ribs were awful very dry, no taste to them at all. The plate was extremely hot and the meat was too as if they stuck the ribs in the microwave (we did hear them slam the microwave door shut several times) to heat them up. I ordered fried mushrooms as my side and I got 4 very small mushrooms. They tried to charge us 2 times for my husbands meal. Then I had to explain to her that the ticket was incorrect and I would not be paying for the meal 2 times. She argued until she said “oh yeah i forgot to remove that when i first put in the order”. The employees kept telling us about how they dislike thier job, and thier manager. Then preceeded to ask if I wanted a job there. I will not be back.

They lost a regular customer when I called and ordered food and right as I’m about to pull in to pick it up they called me and tell me they don’t have the ribs that I ordered and I said that was fine so I ordered a brisket sandwich with two sides I go in and purchase it for $19 and I even left a 15% tip I left and 10 minutes down the road I realized I don’t have one of my sides so I turn around and drive back the doors are locked because they closed an hour earlier than Google says they close they give me my side and I asked for a water and they proceeded to try and charge me for a water. You would’ve kept your regular customer if you would’ve just taken care of them but no they were greedy and tried to charge me for a stinking water.
