3 July We arrived at 11 Service was quick and friendly. The food was great. We both had a different versions of Tenderloins with mashed potatoes and gravy they were very big. We shared a slice of Peach Pie which was outstanding. The price was extremely reasonable.

Had a wonderful lunch with my family before shopping at the Dutchman store. Our waitress was super friendly and checked several times to make sure we were okay. Serving sizes were huge for the price and everything was delicious! Homey welcoming atmosphere, we will be back!

I loved the bacon cheeseburger and my girlfriend had the grilled cheese sandwich plate. It was toasted cheese, not grilled. She was okay with it, I wouldn’t have been. Overall good food although they’ve just opened, so I imagine improvements to processes in the future.

Drove 40mi to try their Tenderloin……..They don’t have them. On the bright side I got a Crazy good homemade tenderloin & onion rings at the Jet Stop in Birmingham on the way home!

As we were loading up the truck after shopping at the Dutchman, I looked up and noticed this little restaurant. We decided to check it out for lunch and we were really pleased. My wife had the Mushroom Swiss Burger and I had the Patty melt. Both were great – no complaints. The atmosphere is calm and homey with the Fox theme spread throughout. Foxes decorating the Christmas tree were a cute touch. The waitress was very nice and took care of us as best she could. She appeared to be working alone on the floor and was taking care of a lot of people, but she got our order in quickly and food came out hot and fresh off the grill. The prices were reasonable. We’ll be back and are planning to make this a normal stop when we come to The Dutchman.

Be sure to support this restaurant when visiting The Dutchman’s just across the street in Cantril Iowa. Completely handicap accessible. Six of us from Wayne County had lunch. Server Liddell was the best, checking on us just right, fun and got all orders right. Food very delicious, served to us timely, rest of staff warm and welcoming! Decor very well done and fresh! We all were very pleased and will be back! Thank you!

Came in 10 minutes before 11:00 order breakfast. We waited 35 minutes then they came and told us that they have stopped serving breakfast and they didn’t have half of what we ordered. I could understand the wait if they were busy but they were not there was only 3 family there at the time. So we paid for are drinks and left. Not impressed for our first visit.
