Visited The Golden Girls Kitchen on 4/29/23. Waited over 30 minutes outside before we were told to come inside. The person that seated us on the “lanai” pointed out on the way to the table where to take good pictures of the wicker couch, kitchen and bedroom. We were seated outside near a kerosene heat lamp that barely did any good. The second lamp wasn’t working and should have been due to the cold. The servers were nice and we had an order the fries before the lasagna arrived. The fries were good. We enjoyed the lasagna and it appeared not to be microwaved. However, it could have been warmer. The bread on the side was just so so. We had slices of both chocolate and strawberry cheesecake. Definitely not Cheesecake Factory, but still pretty good. We enjoyed walking around after eating taking pictures and buying (too much) of the Golden Girls mementos located at the front entry way. I think this was an overall good concept, but there seemed to be a few too many glitches. First, sitting in the cold without fully functional kerosene heating lamps. There were plenty of empty seats inside with absolutely no customers waiting to get in. Second, the prices are outrageous for the quantity and quality of the food. $110 for a table for two with taxes and fees totaled nearly $125. Third, the extras ordered (drinks and fries) totaled over $52 and included in this $52 was an automatic gratuity of $20 ($10 per person). AND a tip was strongly suggested. So our check total was $200 with tip. For $200 I would expect a five star experience. This was not anything of the sort. Doubtful we ever return & my partner resides only a ten minute walk from the location. It was a nice walk down memory lane for sure, but could have been a better experience.

Okay I’m here to give you the real truth, because the negative Nancy comments I felt were a bit dramatic and untrue.

Me and my coworkers love the restaurant. This is not a fine dining but a fun dinner! Your ticket come with food and dessert. I like the Cuban sandwich and please ask for their white hot sauce! It is good with everything. Service is great! They are all attentive and help you with all the pictures you want around the restaurant! The golden girl, theme song is nearly as iconic as the show itself. As soon as those words, “Thank you for being a friend,” reach ears, memories of the sitcom come flooding back. People in the restaurant start dancing and entertaining us! Fun night with my coworkers. Thank you!

Disappointed. First, we arrived early as requested and waited at least 20-30 minutes outside to be seated. The place wasn’t full at all, so we weren’t sure why there was such a long wait. Perhaps they were understaffed? Just a bit confused by that because there were a lot of empty tables/seats.

The food was terrible store brought frozen lasagna. Myself and my sister came 20 Minsk early as mentioned on our tickets we were let inside 20 minutes late. Had a very nice bartender though.

sure it’s just some set design with little touches from the TV show. . .but if you have a good friend who absolutely loves The Golden Girls, this is a great time! Is the food Michelin star quality? no. but it’s tasty – especially the supplemental menus’ cheese balls (very cheesy arancini) and the drinks are STRONG and delicious! Everyone on staff is lovely and very friendly and it’s evident that they are trained to make sure you have a great time! If you’re not having a good time, maybe loosen up, have a couple of cocktails, and have some fun!

I personally had a great experience. Our server Selena was absolutely amazing. She checked up on us made sure everything was up to our standards. As far as food we had the lasagna and garlic bread. It’s was pretty good. I feel like you are paying more for aesthetics and places to take pictures but I really enjoyed myself. Great experience for any Golden Girls fan.

Horrible experience ruined our night and not worth the money. The food tasted like reheated airplane food. Cheesecake was just some cheap version from grocery store. The sets from the show looked like a high school theater set up. All the staff were nice except one waitress who was clearly having a power trip and totally rude. $10 mandatory tip per person so unfortunately I guess this waitress knew she wouldn’t lose money by being horribly rude. My friend visiting from out of town cried because of her. Photo-ops were badly done. We went to the Friends Pop-up and was expecting something to that caliber and this was not even in the same ballpark. 0/10 don’t waste ur money.

My very first pop up experience. The pink building and decor was a great tribute to our favorite ladies “The Golden Girls”. Pre booking is required and tickets must be purchased in advance. Time is limited to 90 minutes if you are able to be seated and served on time but things can get busy and a little hectic. Staff encourages guests to take photos and explore the set up. Merchandise area could use some work and friendlier staff. Great for fans!
