I have been coming to this place for about 6 years now. I used to get it all the time, I moved away for a couple years, and recently came back and the quality and quantity are still incredible! The front desk guy Joe is really cool and the food is amazing. For real, this is my number one favorite place to eat in Philadelphia. I always get the Lamb Korma and it’s the best I’ve ever had. If you enjoy Indian food, I can’t recommend this place enough.

Absolutely delicious. I love Indian food and what we had, Lamb Chettinad and Mango Chicken were so good it was difficult to decide which one we liked more (Chettinad, I think, but it was really close). I had a Guava Lassi that was delicious too.

I can’t say enough good things about Ekta. They offer free delivery, it always comes hot, and it is always delicious! Their mutter paneer is one of my favorite dishes to eat in all of Philadelphia. It’s my go to comfort food — I could eat it any day, any time, alone or with friends, happy or sad, literally any situation. I love Ekta!

I’ve been to every Indian restaurant in the Philly area and Ekta is the best without a doubt. I can’t overstate how delicious the Tandoori chicken and paneer Tikka is. Their white rice is the best I’ve had as well. I believe that this location offers takeout and delivery only.

We ordered food from here at 5 pm for delivery and the website says the estimated delivery time is 1 hour- which is quite typical. However, when over an hour passed by we called the restaurant to check the status of the order and they said it would arrive any minute so we went downstairs and waited… waited for a whole hour and when we called the restaurant throughout the wait for updates all they kept saying was it’ll be there in a few minutes. They even lied to us and told us the driver is outside and is trying to call us but we didn’t answer the delivery persons call- which was completely false. When we called to cancel the order and asked for a refund the manager didn’t care at all and non- chalantly said “Sure” without any explanation until I demanded an explanation for such terrible customer service.
