The best cuban sandwich ! Super friendly people & wonderful atmosphere. Love when they have people in there playing music. It is so calm and peaceful.

Nice local spot. I went for lunch on a weekday with my dog and we had the outdoor seating area to ourselves – nice! I had the small cuban with black beans & yellow rice. Both were tasty. My dog enjoyed the stuffed potato. I have a light appetite. I thought portions were pretty modest for the price. Pricing was higher than what currently appears on Yelp. Bill for items in the photo was $18 & change. Overall a decent stop for lunch.

Best cuban around. Felt like I was in Ybor City again. Thank you. Soup was good along with the company. Saturdays they have music..today there was a lovely guitar player.

This museum and cafe is the creation of it’s genius owner, Jim Anderson. On our first visit he prepared our meals, told us his story and we checked out the museum of printing presses he’s collected and operated until it was time to eat (he served our meal too). His Cuban sandwiches are spot on traditional the way they should be including the bread from a Tampa bakery. We enjoyed black beans and yellow rice as well, and a delicious pastry. Of course he’s got sweet or unsweetened tea, and beer or wine. There’s probably not WiFi here, he says he doesn’t even own a mobile phone. If you’re in the Homosassa area be sure to stop and enjoy Jim and his cafe/museum. And there’s also a historic sugar cane site next door.

Wonderful exhibition of old printing equipment. Linotype, Letterblocks, Letter presses, Heidelberg windmill, dozens of print presses, and a sizeable collection of typewriters. Very surprising variety and quality of machinery.

Stopped in for the first time and I didn’t catch her name but the lady working there was very disrespectful and pushed off taking our order because she was stressed out with only one table in there. Will not be visiting again

One of the best cuban sandwiches you will have. The spanish bean soup and chicken with yellow rice are delicious.

If you want a touch of class with some historical feel topped with the best Cuban sandwich you can get this place is a must. Such a wonderful place with even better people. Two thumbs way up!

An hour before close, “no food” left “because it’s late in the day”, extremely rude staff, some items on the menu are apparently never actually available, and the remaining food (split a Cuban, side of collards and beans/rice) were so bad we threw most of it away. Really terrible experience and wish we’d just walked out- sorry for interrupting the waitress’s important conversation with our business. We definitely won’t do it again.
