Great Irish Pub and Restaurant! Our first time there. Brian was an excellent bartender. The food was great, too. We sat at the bar and watched sports on all the tvs. I recommend the chicken scapparelli, and they have the best cheesecake desert. We will definitely be coming back.

This place is a really cool restaurant to visit with your family or to just go to the bar. I first came to the lamplighter with my friend to sit at the bar. We loved it! As it’s not a normal tavern bar, you can totally see the history of the building and the bar is the perfect lighting, not too bright, not too dark. Music volume and TV volume was low enough that we could talk and not have to shout and the drinks are what you would expect at a local bar. The building is so cool. One of the hosts told us a little bit about where the original building was and the expansions and showed us the architecture which is fascinating to look at. I came back here with my family and we had dinner and it was perfect. The catering/ events room is so pretty and I’m looking forward to have a party of some sort at this location. I feel bad that the exterior of the building is not what it s glory used to be as evidenced by the photo I took of the photo they have hanging. This is still a really cool spot and is a local gym that I hope lasts for another hundred years.

Server seemed brand new. Took forever with everything. Got stuff wrong. Didn’t get drinks or appetizers until a half hour in and waited over an hour before the entrees arrived. Everything was super bland and we all had a stomach ache by the end of the night. Absolutely not worth the $140 l had to drop on this. Oh, and the entire dining room was empty. First and last time.

I can only rate my experience solely on the appetizers and staff. For both I can say, the staff was great and the appetizers were good, specifically the wings and potato skins.

I have to say it first I was skeptical because we were the only people there until people started walking in. The food and service was absolutely terrific but I have to say that the bartender needs an award. She made me 2 chocolate martinis and honestly they are the best I’ve ever had

Brian was great and the food was okay. Definitely a bit outdated but has a huge bar. Brian made a great martini and was very personable. I asked for sautéed shrimp to be added to my vodka pasta and it cost $10 for 4 shrimp.( shrimp came out broiled) French onion soup wasn’t bad but definitely would pass on the Caesar.

Great food, and great service. They had gluten-free options and accommodations. We had a last-minute party of eight and they gladly squeezed us in on Mother’s Day.

The food was ok at best and the aesthetic is stuck in the late 70’s early 80’s. Don’t expect innovation here, extremely short menu and none of it has been perfected. The kitchen is slow as well, food took a while. Not the waitress’ fault she was apologetic and nice.

It was a 3 women dinner. We each got our drinks promptly. I had the little neck steamed clams ( pic ).
