At our Greenville, OH location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Food is always good. Hot, fresh and delivered to the table quickly. Staff is polite, knowledge, and ready to help in any way. Managers are on top of things and connecting with customers dining in. The southern fried fish is amazing and being from the south, the hush puppies are as close to perfect as you can get!

Captain D’s is one of my favorite places to eat. They closed our local restaurant and so while I was visiting family in another state that had a local Captain D’s I stopped to get my favorite. I went through drive-thru with a big order of course, they were prompt, polite, I did not have to repeat myself, they did not try to upsell me. They could tell I knew what I wanted and they let me order. For it being a big order through drive-thru I was surprised at how quick I got my food. There was nothing missing not even a condiment was missing and the food was hot and delicious. Good enough that I went back the next two days as well LOL. Definitely an A+ in my book.

Been eating here for many years, thru good times and bad. Right now they are on an upswing. The food is good and the service is top notch. They are obviously paying attention to the basics. The fish and shrimp are good quality, done just right. The fries are always fresh, as are the hushpuppies. The store is plain but clean and comfortable, but the people make it enjoyable to stop in.
