If you still miss Kim’s Chinese in Troy, the menu and food in this place is very close. Reasonably priced and quick service. No dine in.

They charged me twice as much as their menu said in the store and their online menu. She said menu old and and cursed at me. My meal was 14.10 instead of a little over $7. I advise everyone to never go here.

When I moved to Troy, I tried just about every Chinese restaurant in search of one as good as what I grew up with. Hong Kong Express ended up being even better than my hometown favorite! The almond boneless chicken is always hot and crispy. The fried rice is the perfect texture and flavor. The lo mein (eapecially roast pork) soooo flavorful. The crab Rangoon is crispy and STUFFED with filling. They don’t skimp on their egg drop soup either, always the perfect ratio of broth to eggs. Their egg rolls and spring rolls are generously sized and so flavorful you don’t even need the sauce. Everything is great here, but those are my favorites. The portions are HUGE for the price too. For $3] you could feed two very hungry people for days! (I say that from personal experience lol). The people who work there are always so friendly too! I’ll be so sad if I ever move again and have to find a spot to even come close to Hong Kong Express!

Prices are higher than what is posted online. I ordered general tso chicken and the breading was soggy. The crab ragoons were great! They offer pickup only.

It’s my to-go-to place for Chinese now. My taste is for Almond Boneless Chicken. Dinner includes 3 breast pieces, chicken fried rice and egg roll and gravy for around 11.00.

I honestly think the people giving this place good recommendations haven’t had good Chinese food. I got the sesame chicken and my boyfriend got the sweet & sour chicken, the breading on both tasted rubbery or like it was sitting in the back already cooked waiting to be served. I actually know it was because 3 minutes after ordering our food it was ready…

Just moved to the area and ordered for dinner. The chicken was gristly and rubbery— you know how when you bite into it and you immediately lose your appetite? That. Gross. Will not be back.
