Wish I could give a higher rating. Cute shop, staff is friendly. I thought it was a fluke the first time but it happened again. The bacon in the premade wraps was raw. Biting into raw bacon fat.. not ok, or safe.

I’m at GE Brown almost daily. They have the best coffee in the area and lots of great prepared foods. Plus lots of healthy snacks. The Bacon Egg and Cheese is the best around — everyone in my family loves them. Plus lots of great baked goods (GF breads, brownies, cookies), home decor items, kitchenware, bar ware, mixers, etc. Makes the Bedford & Pound Ridge area a better place to live! And everyone who works at GE Brown, including the owners, are super friendly and helpful. Absolutely love this place!

I am super particular w my health and tend to avoid vegetable oils and fragrances in my products. I was so surprised to hear GE serves virtually no food with vegetable oil. This is unheard of even at super fine restaurants! Only olive oil and butter for the most part. Also a lot of their candles are made from essential oils no harsh synthetic fragrances

Cute place but…coffee was bad..the only fresh sandwiches they make are the bacon egg n cheese and grilled cheese. everything else js premade. (Very expensive if you ask me since its premade) i Had a coffee cake it was alright. Counter guy and lady were sweet and friendly though. If youre coming from out of town and not familiar withh the area i wont recommend coming here.

Such a cute little spot! I commute by there every morning and finally decided to stop by. The coffee and treats are great!! However, I cannot say the same about the service and because of this it will be my first and last time going. I paid with dollar coins (one of the many metro north commuter cons), asked the lady if that was ok with her and she responded with “there’s a customer waiting in line” – as if I wasn’t a paying customer myself. The transaction took no more than if I paid with a CC or regular dollar bills. I excitely visited the shop with the intent of capturing a pretty photo to give the shop some exposure on social media, as I am a blogger, but the service and her attitude on a slow Tuesday morning were uncalled for and EXTREMELY unprofessional.
