We love Golden Corral. We usually go to one in Midvale but this time we came to this location. The cashier girl could have been a little nicer but the total experience was awesome! Our server was really nice, she was courteous, friendly, attentive and super helpful. Food was great, everything was fresh and they kept refilling.

The food was good. They had quite a few empty pans that needed to be refilled more frequently. The servers were too busy to say, hi I am your server today, my name is so and so, instead she just came around quickly and added new drinks and left, which is good that we got drinks but there was no emotion. Unfortunately, we ended up at a table that was right against the pathway and it was uncomfortable and loud. It was hard to have a conversation at the table. It was impressive though to see their dessert selection. They had a large variety.

Food was as expected. Not great but not bad either and it was nice not to wait. We went to the cracker barrel and they had an hour Long wait for lunch. Which was highly disappointing. So Golden corral definitely comes in better for that. Things were made fresh. It’s not a five star restaurant. The atmosphere is plain but the food is good and the service was amazing. Our server was very attentive to our needs.

We spent just over $100 for five adults and one child. For us it’s a once in a while event. We went on a week night. Our server was wonderful. The food is fine for a buffet and some menu items change (usually meat items) depending on the day. We like it for our family who have different tastes. There is a salad section with your typical toppings and fruit, chicken, fish, pizza, rolls, cooked vegetables, some Mexican food, etc. Desserts include soft serve ice cream, cakes, cookies, brownies, etc. It can get busy during weeknights and especially on the weekends.

Ok. I had to go low on this rating. Y’all know that I typically only contribute reviews that are positive. This one is in the middle…. I am always looking for a place with low carb options. Of course, you’re all saying, “It’s a buffet!” Yes. And they have meat , salad and veggie options. But sadly, the meatloaf, roast beef and burger were ALL well done and dry. I couldn’t even swallow the dry pot roast. I’m not trying to rag on The Golden Corral. Just my experience today. There are a ton of options: Mexican, Italian, soups, chili and all the fixing. If you’re looking for a low carb option, this is disappointingly not it, unless you eat your weight in salad! It’s not all bad. Desserts look good! I’m heading over there now! So cut a coupon, get in on a special meal deal and enjoy!

Fancy? No. Gourmet? No. Good value? Yes! The waitress are the most kind and attentive of any buffet I’ve ever been to. The food is good for what you pay. The chocolate silk pie is actually spectacular. Salad bar is good with just enough variety to please most anyone, and they are very conscientious checking temperatures. Every time I’ve eaten there I’ve seen an employee checking temperature at least once. Nothing looks wilted or rotten. If you enjoyed the food the mom used to make on a weeknight to feed the family, but a greater variety of it and a pretty good salad bar you’ll like eating here. Plus you can pig out on pie, cake and ice cream at the end, something mom would never allow!
