This place is so worth it. We came right when they opened and they already had a line. The catfish is so fresh and the sides are really tasty too. For $15 per adult it’s really amazing. I would for sure go back. Really friendly staff too.

The sweet lady at the register turned out to be the owner, but I all but dragged it out of her! She was so modest and humble, to have such a wonderful, popular and personable restaurant and to act like she was the “cash register girl” is exactly what makes this place heartfelt. The food-okay. The mac n cheese was a little watery, and the fish was kind of overcooked, or at least the batch I had. The shrimp was good but tasted like Shwann’s frozen shrimp. I don’t mean to complain, but the food was so-so. What IS worth going back for (and we will!) was the wonderful customer service-they make you feel right at home. The mediocre food is very well-priced at 14.95 ea. for adults. So, overall it was a delightful experience, and we did NOT leave hungry-they fill you up! Oh, the banana pudding was a very nice way to end a meal!

Great buffet! Very reasonably priced for the family. Salad bar, fish, chicken strips, corn, green beans, fried potatoes, baked potato, french fries, hush puppies, shrimp, beans, saurkraut, a dessert bar, lots of good stuff to be had.

It’s a very basic southern style all you can eat. I remember going here years ago with my grandpa and it being alot better. The chicken strips were good and the green beans were good. I thought it was all pretty good until I found something chewy in my banana pudding only to realize upon further investigation that I had started chewing a fly that had been mixed up in the pudding.

It’s not really worth the drive if you’re not from there, they only accept cash and check and the closest bank is about 7 minutes away. The food was mediocre and sat pretty heavy on the stomach. We drove 40 minutes because we’d seen people on Facebook talking about it, but honestly I think it was a tactic to get business. I’ll stick to our local catfish restaurant. We won’t be returning.
