A really nice lunch spot. There’s a kids menu, a bar, lots of seating in this sunny restaurant. The art on the walls (and ceiling) is awesome! Very clean bathroom, vegetarian options. We enjoyed our noodle bowls. Easy parking.

Great service. The food was expected. Not my favorite pho restaurant but was good enough. I’m used to eating spring roll with lettuce n fish sauce, not store bought sweet chili sauce.

First time in the new location and it’s brighter and more colorful, nice change. We were hopeful the menu had improved since in the old place there wasn’t much that was vegan and the prices were a bit high for what you got. I wanted to order the Vietnamese Curry with Tofu since it seemed to be vegan or could be made vegan (there were no little V’s or VEG icons on the menu to indicate what was what). Luckily, I mentioned I wanted it vegan when the waitress asked me which meat I wanted. She said the curry had fish sauce in it. She then went and retrieved a secondary menu at the front desk, handed it to me and said these were the only vegan dishes they had. There were about 7 dishes on it and two of them said they contained honey!!!! Um, NOT VEGAN. I laughed and asked why there were two non-vegan dishes listed in the vegan section of the special menu. The waitress hesitated and said, well, maybe some people consider honey vegan. I told her it was most definitely not vegan by any classification and they should take those off of their other menu. So I ended up ordering rice paper rolls with veggie meat and a non-alcoholic Pomegranate Sunrise. My companion ordered veggie meat beef skewers, Mì Xào (egg noodles with stir fried veggies) and a Basil Smash drink. The tiny cup of peanut sauce that came with my rolls was bland and no way could possibly cover the two rolls I received, but the rolls themselves were of good size and tasty enough. My companion said his order was just okay, but he wouldn’t order it again. The drinks were very good, though. So all in all, I’m glad we checked out the new digs, but we won’t be back.

The place is nice. The portions are well but the freshness of some the ingredients were not so great. The limes we received had no juice and you can tell they been out for a while. I didn’t see anything that would make this place stand out from other pho restaurants

Crab Rangoon was over cooked and too crispy. Pho had almost a cinnamon/holiday spice flavor to it and the broth was not hot enough to cook the raw beef served on top. The Vietnamese coffee was super diluted. Only good thing was the summer rolls even though the peanut sauce was super watery. Had higher hopes since we enjoyed their old Tosa spot previously. Just not worth it at all!

The vegetable pho and summer rolls were just okay. The broth wasn’t as clear as desired and needed a lot of assistance seasoning wise. The peanut sauce that came with the summer rolls was pretty bland. The rolls were also loosely packed. There was a lack of communication between servers and food runners. However, the decor and vibe was cute and I think the staff were definitely trying as best they could with the amount of staff scheduled.

This was the Thai Iced Coffee and Beef Pho. The skirt steak was really tender and the iced coffee was delish. The only thing is, I wished they had more condiments on the table to add to the food. Also we went on a Sunday and there was only one waitress for the good amount of ppl there so maybe hire another person for that shift. The decorations/murals are also cool inside.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hue Asian Kitchen, a Vietnamese restaurant located in the heart of Bay View on Kinnickinnic. I was immediately struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere, and the friendly and attentive staff made me feel right at home.

Delicious food, unlike most places every time I go I try something new and never have been disappointed. A favorite though is the Summer Roll. Try it with the vegetarian meat, you’ll be surprised! The Lemongrass Beef Banh Mi is amazing as well!

I’ve been ordering/dining here for a long time and I can say the food is tasty but has declined in value over time.
