In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

This chain has fantastic Nashville Hot Chicken combos. I ordered The Dave’s #3: 1 Tender & 1 Slider w/ Fries and it was fantastic and convenient to pickup. The server who handed me my food was very polite and there is plenty of free parking outside along Green Street.

I love Dave’s Hot Chicken But… this one at Kitchen United Mix.. ain’t it .. You can tell you guys are very serious about portions! Not worth the price!! Considering all the competition for Hot Chicken. Don’t come here unless you want to pay a lot of a small portion. Also Mac & Cheese was so watery. Almost like a Mac & Cheese Soup.

This message is for the business owner. Whatever you’re doing there. It’s stupid! might be viable business wise, but it’s stupid! Very inconvenient to the customers to get their food and communicate with staff. At least have staff with better attitude to compensate for the inconvenience. Im for sure not coming back to buy from any of the food places you have there, just because of the hassle. I’m pretty sure others feels the same way.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I feel sick to my stomach. I got the 1 tender 1 slider through door dash and the chicken was so soft and gooey. I dont want to say it was raw, but it definitely was not cooked fully. I was STARVING and took 1 bite from the slider and threw it out immediately! I cut open the tender to see how that was cooked and it looked the same! Ive had daves at other locations and never experienced this issue!!!!

Small portions compared to other locations. The one in Hollywood gives you like 5x the amount of fries. Chicken seemed smaller as well but maybe that’s just because the amount of fries was so tiny. Food came out fast but was lukewarm, not really sure how that’s possible. Won’t be coming back to this location.

Chicken is fire. Don’t mess around with anything above medium spice level if you’re not bulletproof. Order directly from Dave’s online through Google or whatever. it’s quite noticeably cheaper; i checked in person.
