This place is a hidden gem! The staff was so friendly and quick! They kept drinks and chips full. The food is great and unique for the area, get the plantains if you go! Also their salsa has more flavor than most restaurants in Catawba county.

Had a wonderful first birthday celebration for my dog Roscoe. You can bring your dog if you sit on the patio. Got an amazing healthy salad: Spinach, strawberries, black beans, chicken, pecans, cucumbers. Plus chips, salsa and iced coffee.

Enjoyed lunch at Casa Azul yesterday. I was very pleasantly surprised at the entire experience. Friendly attentive staff, quick service, beautiful presentation and great flavors all at a good value. They hit it out of the park in my opinion. I had the carnitas burrito lunch special and the flavor was unique and amazing. I would 100% come back to this place.

This place is a little different than most Mexican restaurants in our area in a good way. Their flavors and ingredients are different. Their menu seems more focused on seafood and fresh fruit and vegetables. I’ve eaten here several times now, and every experience has been positive. Great food and fast service. What else can you ask for?

We were immediately greeted by a very friendly staff who was wonderful throughout our visit. The food was excellent and the bar area looked really nice. It felt like we were back in Mexico! Can’t wait to come back

The salsa was really good! Sadly that was all we experienced because no one ever came to take our drink order and we left after waiting 20 minutes. An employee even came over and made eye contact with us then turned around and left at the 20 minute mark. So we left. Hopefully they get their seating logistics figured out because I expect their food is good due to how good the salsa was.

The atmosphere and the vibe is amazing, but the food was ok. The tortilla chips that came with the salsa had a very bad ratio. Some of the tortilla chips were hard and some of the tortilla chips were fresh. I order the birria tacos and it was a let down. The consummae/soup had no flavor, the tacos were bland. The other dishes that I have seen look good, but the birra tacos don’t hit
