Delicious bowl of rice noodles in hot stone pots. I’m a slow eater so I appreciate the stone pots because my noodles stayed HOT until the end.

Cute casual place for a quick dinner. Noodle soups are based on the “crossing the bridge noodle” story. Compared to other places that serve this type of noodle, the ingredients as you can tell from the picture are in small portions. The chicken is really good so get that to share as a side dish.

We were two couples for dinner, casual place with good service. First experience for us and we enjoyed it, ordered two appetizers (braised lotus root!) and four noodle dishes. The bang bang chicken is served with bones and basically hacked in pieces (warning). They automatically add the tip but for what we spent, it was reasonable so no issues for us. Fun to try but we left hungry so not likely to be back.

The food was just so so, but overpriced. The chicken was not fresh. All the ingredients were cheap.

Got the spicy noodle soup with beef shank. Most places will skimp on the beef. Not here. I actually got full off of a bowl of soup which is rare.

i like the lemon yakult drink. the spicy noodle was ok, not my favorite maybe i’ll try something else next time. i don’t know if they have a fork or a smaller spoon available but it’s very difficult to eat with the chopsticks for those who don’t know how to them.

If you’re looking for a casual spot to enjoy some Chinese food, Dagu Rice Noodle is a great option. The location is convenient, with public parking available nearby. You can usually get a table without having to wait during weekdays. The food is affordable, with an average price of $10-$20. The rice noodle dish comes with 10 sides, which is a great way to mix and match flavors. However, the waiting time for food can be long, especially for fried dishes. If you’re looking for something quick, it’s best to order one of their signature dishes.

Interesting concept where you can pick your soup contents and sort of hot pot them together. They bring you a hot bowl of soup based on your broth selection and then you can order meats to go with the selection of other add ins they give you.

The food came quickly. The spicy soup is delicious. Spicy braised lotus root is more flavorful than spicy; it’s served cold. The staff is friendly. Highly recommend dining here.

I have been loving Dagu for whenever I am craving hot flavorful soup, and their portions are always reliably large. It’s nice to finally find a rice noodle place in Pittsburgh, and their bubble tea is nice too. Eating in is great here since they can accommodate a large group, and their takeout packaging is awesome too. Highly recommend for any noodle soup lovers!
