This is second time being there. First time when leaving noticed a Surfside cop sitting across the street. As soon as I pulled out of parking lot I was followed all the way to connector and 17 bypass. Pulled in this time cop across the street again. Just left. Hard to relax with one or two and know what might be waiting when I leave.

Not quite ready to be done for the day, it was definitely “beer thirty” and how could I not stop here? A local sort of hang out but full of friendly folks and a bartender who let me know that my PBR was on special. $2? Yes, you can keep the change on that $5.

Got to local camp ground near by for 3 weeks stay and stopped in for a quick beer while waiting to pickup pizza next door. Girl at bar added $4 dollar tip on $4 tab. Didn’t want to make a stink in front of the locals so i signed the check and left. Just wanted to warn others… seems like a nice place that my wife and I would have liked to frequent while in town. Will not be going back.
