I was craving Carne Asada. I was not disappointed. Huge portions and the rice was amazing, the best rice I’ve ever had. I will definitely order from La Promesa again. Next time I’ll eat there instead of Door Dash. I didn’t realize it was so close to my house. Also had a chicken taco on corn tortilla. So good. Definitely recommend to everyone. I normally don’t eat big meals, but I ate everything. Can’t wait to try more food from there.

stopped by after running errands in sterling and was hesistant but i do not regret my decision this place was sooo good i ordered a salvadorean hot chocolate tasted amazing! and my breakfast was hot and fresh . the pollo con tajada was sooo good omg deff coming back great customer service so happy i found this little gem

La Promesa has the best pupusas around the Sterling area. My favorite pupusas are made in Los Chorros located in Maryland, but since I’ve been in VA for quite some time now La Promesa is my new favorite pupusa place.
