I definitely will have a second meal here when I come back. China moon is offering the best I could imagine for this price. I like the taste and so many food choices. If there is more vegetables would be better. I like the quiet environment and other polite customers. Really enjoy it!

China moon is no more, closed down during Covid-19 and reopened this week as Red Dragon Bowl. Same location and phone number, totally different concept. Kind of a chipotle setup, you pick noodles or rice, veggies and protein and they make you a bowl

One of my favorite places to eat, lunch or dinner.. They recently remodeled inside and I like it, but except the lighting is very dark.. Food is excellent.

We’ll have to go back and give this restaurant another try. I had a wonderful flavor of hot tea with dinner, and they offer several more. We were there at around 6:30 p.m. on a week night, and one of the steam tables was malfunctioning, so menu was very limited. Only one vegetable, but it was quite hot in flavor, so couldn’t eat it. Saw fried chicken, but was disappointed that it was dry & seemed tough. Many dishes, including soup, seemed oily, egg rolls were tough & dry. Dessert options were very limited & not very tasty. Kudos for trying to stay open, and for offering greatly reduced prices during the malfunction. Staff were very pleasant.

Absolutely horrible food. Everything was way overcooked. Meaning deep fried too long for almost everything. Even the “pot sticker” dumplings had been deep fried, so were hard as bricks. The supposedly steamed dumplings were so old and dried out they were not broken into by any fork. The meatball inside was as dry as dust but hard as chalk. The other dishes all had their ingredients either over-fried or boiled into sogginess. Now let’s discuss the poor service. I stood at the entrance for 3 minutes before a lounging staff member noticed me from his I-phone session in the back room. I was handed a plastic cup with a spoon and fork wrapped in a napkin, then left on my own to find a seat and get my food. When I complained about the food I just got a blank stare. I asked if he had ever eaten one of those “steamed” dumplings and was told “no”. No effort was made to get better food to me or to even inspect the buffet go see if things had been out too long. No concern at all. Just a blank stare and he walked away. Just horrible food. and bad service.

Not too bad for being one of the only two Chinese restaurants in town. Decent lunch buffet and very friendly staff that helped us with determing what items were vegetarian. We were surprised that they have vegetarian and vegan soups on the buffet too. Good value for the money.

Food was fresh and decent, until we witnessed the child of the owners “best friend” taste the food not like it and placed it back in the pan. Then she was serving egg drop soup, licked her fingers used the same fingers to grab a piece of egg off the ladle, lick her fingers and do it again. She was visiting the restaurant with her grandparents and the grandmother very loudly exclaimed several times about the girls father being best friend’s with the owner, which I expect is the reason the server did not say anything when I brought it to his attention. This was made the visit come to a prompt end as we were not going to eat contaminated food!!

The buffet is frequently open when nobody else in town is, and for that they deserve 5 stars. There are enough vegetarian buffet items for a good veg meal, too. The hidden secret is ordering off the menu, which has a big selection of tasty choices, including a whole vegetarian section.
